We had a fabulous dinner here. The food was outstanding and the service was lovely. The starters knocked our socks off. Onion bhaji and bliss spring rolls. I’ve had many an onion bhaji in my time but none as good as this. They’re huge and beautifully made. The spring rolls were mighty good too. We loved our mains as well. Nepali style goat curry and the eggplant curry. I’d noticed other reviewers had commented favourably on those dishes. Both dishes were outstanding. Great flavour. Great texture. Just the right tenderness and a spot on amount of heat. Perfect. We also had the Kashmiri rice, keema naan, lentil papadums and raita. All were excellent. We both kept commenting on the quality of the dishes and said to each other multiple times that if this place was in the city there’d be lines around the block because it’s that’s good. The service was lovely throughout and overall we had a gorgeous experience in this compact and well organised place. The only thing that confused us was, why aren’t more people coming to the restaurant itself rather than getting takeaway or getting meals delivered (and there were heaps of these, let me tell you). Why not order in and get this wonderful food delivered fresh straight from the kitchen to your table in a lovely space?

Read moreDon't waste your time. Indian Villa in Rye is a million times better. Nepal Bliss was good once upon a time but the quality has gone down hill at both Rye and Rosebud. Very watery curry with hardly any meat. I guess it's watery so they can make more from the one pot. I placed a phone order and collected my food, drove 30 mins to pick uo the order and 30 mins home to realise one of my meals was missing. When I called them and asked for it to be delivered, they said they couldn't do that and would give me a refund the next time I go back in. I told them I'll never be coming back again as not only is the food poor but the kitchen looks dirty too. Drove all the way back and fourth wasting another hour and collected the missing item. There was no apology, nothing given as compensation or refund for having to drive an hour all up and waste my petrol for their mistake. Never again

First off, no business owner has ever and never should respond to customers like this and insult them. As they say, customer knows best, me and my friends took the wrong choice going to your restaurant. We came to your restaurant by looking at the reveiws, and we didn't like the food. If we didnt't like the food then that's all we can say in the reveiw, the fact, so people don't fall into the trap like we did. Just because a lot of people have blandly given you ratings, that doesn't mean we will. We have eaten in so much holiday restaurants, and out of all the food, this is the worst I have ever eaten. Portion doesn't matter, but taste does, and so does customer service quality. Get a life for you and your restaurant and how about you start developing on your patience and manners.
