Pappous Souvlaki — Restaurant in Melbourne

Worst eating experience ever. Was told order would be 40 to 50 minutes so ordered dinner at 7:45 and left to do other tasks. Returned 45 minutes later and was told another 15 minutes. Waited 15 minutes and was told 2 orders were still in front. Watched another at least 15 orders go out ahead of ours and weren't even sure we would get our food as these people definitely did not order before us. Finally got our order 1hr 40 minutes after ordering with no care shown from staff. We had 4 kids including a 9 month old waiting to get dinner before 90 minute drive home. Meat was average, calamari inedible rubber, the only decent thing was the chips which everyone can cook. $110 for 4 below average souvs, chips and calamari is a rip off. Anyone saying this is the best souv they've had must be related/friends of owner because its easily the worst Ive had. Would've never wasted time if I knew it would be double the waiting time. Terrible service and food, will never go back, not sure why people are lining...

Ordered the family pack and a kids PSP pack for pickup. Wasn’t till we got back home we realised they didn’t give us the kids PSP pack. Called them only to be told by the girl (with big attitude issue) that she packed that order herself and insisted she definitely put the kids PSP in the bag. Told her I’m happy to send a photo of what we received. She was adamant as was I so she went off and spoke to manager, came back and told us they’ll make up a pack if we go pick up. To top it off the souvlakia had very little meat and what meat there was was charcoal, not edible at all!! When we went back to collect The ‘missing order’ the manager was patronising [as expected from the many negative reviews I’ve read since]. Dear manager, don’t give me the “many good reviews” malakia please, obviously you’re getting defensive cause you know there are issues. In future I will definitely be reading reviews before ordering anywhere again as I should have done here!!!!! DROPIS SOU!...

What an enjoyful experience. Came in off the beach and the whole family had built up quite an apetite. We were greeted by a pleasant young lady at the counter and the experience did not change after that. The staff look like they all loved being there and it provided a great atmosphere. We got into conversation with the staff and choice of music that was playing in the store. Not my style of music! but management allowed the staff to choose their music as it's Sunday funday. Loved that! The food was amazing! The service was amazing! The meat at this place melts in your mouth. Would definitely recommend this place and will be back again. We'll done to the...
