I’ve really enjoyed my classes with Clare every week. Clare is an excellent teacher, as well as a friendly, patient and very positive person. Her teaching is clear and easy to follow. She taught us the fundamentals of drawing, and also explored different techniques and styles. As a person who has never held a paintbrush since I was a kid, it’s an amazing feeling to believe that I can draw something nicely. I was impressed with Clare’s ability to give each of us specific attention by supporting all the different levels and needs within the group.

The class was very relaxing and everyone was friendly. It was great and enjoyable doing something creative with a bunch of lovely people in this supportive and friendly environment.

I think her class suits a range of people: beginners, people wanting to improve their drawing as well as those just wanting to spend 2 hours enjoying relaxing group activities with lovely people.

Returning to art after retirement was challenging. But I feel like confidence is returning since taking up classes with Clare! Clare is so incredibly helpful to each person in her class. She shares her technical wisdom and creative ideas generously. I feel as if I’m constantly learning really important skills that I never gained in other art classes I attended in previous years, either because classes were too big or there just wasn’t a focus on some of the fundamentals of using colour, blending, shadowing, building etc etc. As an amateur or hobbyist without formal art education and being in my 70s I felt like I could never make up that basic grounding. My passion for art and interest in the process is now resurfacing. Time at the classes is super enjoyable, fun, light hearted and a special time to just be present in the ‘now’! Thanks Clare. Looking forward to what next class...

Clare was just amazing. I wanted to get my body painted on site for my birthday party at a bar in Brunswick and knew of her work via Instagram. She was quick to respond and very friendly and approachable. We shared ideas on a concept and I immediately knew I was in good hands. She is a talented artist across several mediums. She was punctual and flexible with how we approached the process on the night. Given time was limited I was amazed at how much detail she got done in just over an hour. Given the amount of work involved it was very reasonably priced as well. The whole experience left me feeling quite transcendent and it was such a talking point of the evening. She is both professional and personable and can work with anyone from kids to more adventurous adults. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to explore this unique and liberating form...
