AVOID AT ALL COST AND ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS WHEN YOU GO TO THE KIOSK. This is long but it's worth taking the time to read it. Firstly what I would like to say is, I've been shopping at this store for about 10yrs. Now on the 14th of November I came to the store to get a few items. One of those was GRINDERS COFFEE BEANS which were on special for $24 a bag. I bought 1 bag and was scanned 5 WHOPPING $129 OOPS MISTAKE. That day I wasn't in the best frame of mind and didn't even realise, luckily my 74yo mum looked at the receipt and brought it to my attention. I then called Deb who served me at the kiosk and told her what she had done and asked if she would be in the store the next day, which she said no but " I'll let KYM/KIM know and she'll fix it up" OK sweet no probs. Anyway a bit about me. I suffered a severe spinal injury 16yrs ago and have had lots of surgeries and I suffer from chronic pain, insomnia, anxiety and right side nerve damage, but still I always went into that store with a smile and a friendly chat as I did my usual shop run. So I approached the kiosk in the morning and KYM was on and approached me with this attitude which many ppl have commented about her rudeness ect!! I approached her cheerfully and said " Deb said she would leave a message for her which she mockingly said " I Know I Know " Now I was under the impression that if someone scanned the product incorrectly you would get a full refund for the whole amount and the choice then to buy another at the same price being $24. Well that's how it used to work. But Kym kept getting more aggressive and said " No you will only get refunded for 4 bags you still have to pay for 1 bag!! What the?. So thing's escalated and KYM played the victim and was then joined by 2 girls from bakery and or Deli and JAKE the janitor, rubbish collector, toilet cleaner and apparently a " Security guard " 6' something come up behind me pushing out his chest in my face, mind you I've said what was wrong with me and I'm a 51yo Man and try and intimidate me, so I stuck up for my RIGHTS. If you want respect, show respect! By the time the incident was finished I left shaking at the way I was treated over a $24 bag of Coffee beans. I then escalated the complaint to head office who where ever so kind and let DANIEL the " STORE MANAGER " know and if I hadn't heard anything within 2 to 3 days if no contact!! No that didn't happen and it had to be escalated once again higher up and eventually he finally rang. He had an Argumentative attitude and didn't want to offer a peaceful resolution instead he was trying to make me mad, so I simply hung up. It was then escalated to the highest level 3rd time and thanks so much for this, I received a phone call from the MARRIOTT WATERS WOOLIES, who couldn't apologise enough for the experience and treatment I received. I was Welcomed with open arms, all of the staff included and simply gave me my money back easy as that. Now I'm banned from the CRANBOURNE NORTH store and couldn't be happier as they have no stock all the time. Close the Store! Now you need to really rethink who deserves the title of Team leader instead of Kym and also Daniel the "STORE MANAGER " look at the reviews lately, Kym's name and Attitude has been pointed out in many reviews regarding how she approaches ppl at the kiosk. So please remember CHECK ALL RECEIPTS especially from the kiosk. Thank you kindly to all the people who helped me through this process, almost a 2 week incident!! Read moreI just want to express my experience with the Woolworths Cranbourne North Supervisor that I had to deal with tonight, Thursday 13 Mar 2025. My husband paid through self checkout for 2 boxes of Skyflakes that are priced at $10.50 ea on the shelf, but when we came to pay for them it said 11 dollars ea. We paid for everything we bought then walked to the query counter so that my husband can query the price. Lou, the WW Cranbourne North Supervisor assisted my husband. She did the price checks and refunded to him 1 dollar which is the difference for the 2 boxes of biscuits. My husband was a bit puzzled because according to yhe WW rule, which we are very familiar with because we have been faithful customers since 1997, and we know how things have changed since scanners came along and what consequences they bring. As we were walking away from the shop, I asked my husband what happened. He explained the details to me. So, I said to him "no, that is not correct. I'm not happy with that outcome. Normally, as per Woolworths scanning policy, a customer gets the first item for free and on the 2nd item gets the price difference." So, I went back to see Lou and said to her "Excuse me, I have a query on the refund. Aren't you supposed to give us 1 box for free and the price difference on the 2nd?" But then she didn't apologise, and instead she gave me a lecture. She said "You should not have spoken to me like that" . So, I replied "I don't think I was rude". I was simply pointing out that I know the rules. I think she did not like the fact that I know them . We have had many experiences in Woolworths stores where purchases have scanned at the wrong price, but we have never been treated like this before. I think that the Woolworths Cranbourne North Supervisor needs a refresher course on Customer Service. I'm pretty sure the store can review the CCTV should they need to verify. Read moreI should have known not to come back, but I did after about a year, glad to see nothing has changed your older Team Members are still your let down. The constant rudeness of these ladies is ridiculous. I took a item off the shelf that clearly had a special ticket of $6.50 in front of it ( there were at least 8 other behind the 1 I took & of course it scanned at $17.50 so I questioned the price the checkout girl called the rudest human I’ve had to deal with in awhile she took off looking came back with the explanation of someone had shuffled all the stock around ( cause I can see a customer doing that on the very top shelf ) & in fact it wasn’t that price. B4 I even got a chance to ask any further questions & plead my case of the item being advertised at that price so it should be given she constantly spoke over the top of me kept using the word love at me & refused to give me the item per their policy.
