This lounge is underrated compared to what's on offer at this 'international' terminal. Especially when it's busy in the departures area. I Would definitely choose the Aspire Lounge over the Air NZ Lounge if I was a one world member. The Aspire Lounge is conveniently located at gate 53 (bang smack in the middle of all the gates, meaning you don't need to go very far once it's time to catch your flight!). WCHR accessible lift and stairs take you up to the top floor where you're welcomed by a friendly hello! The lounge has multiple rooms each with their own modern touch. There are showers available, also very clean and WCHR accessible. The best section would be the 'viewing deck' which once was a boarding staircase Aspire has turned the upper level into this gorgeous sitting and dining area with 180degree views of the entire taxiways and runways (great for plane enthusiasts). The mood here is quaint, quiet and peaceful. The mood lighting is just right and helps with that ambience. The food is OK, but for the price and ability for anyone to walk in and pay for lounge access it definitely delivers on value. Plenty of alcoholic choices and it's extremely easy to grab a quick drink. Plenty of departure displays around so you know when to head downstairs to your boarding gate! ASPIRE is killing it with this lounge, and I always hear such positive feedback from other travellers who have experienced this...
Read moreAspire Lounge, Perth Terminal 1 International Airport: Gorgeous view of the runway, modern and tasteful interior design, facilities and a good bar plus decent grub. I’ve been to many lounges and few score the aesthetic points like Aspire. This is such a boon. I read the horror Google Reviews and came braced with expectations lower than my Nike ankle socks. But let me set this straight. My Nike socks were knocked off alright. People. This is more than fine. The highlight is the bar - I even got to do tastings of Western Australian white wines and the reds are oddly from Victoria. How about Margaret River wines? Some of the world class wines hail from your soil. Food is good. The spread was great and fresh - salads, pastas, rolls, chicken, soup. We are pecatarians but okay with lack of seafood. Mind you, I am a fine dining person. There’s constant replenishment. Man, this is the hardest working duo crew I've seen - Gee and Beby. Service was great throughout - smiles, friendliness and chats. Bathroom was tastefully done up, with a dressing area and great toiletries. The best part is to seat yourself at the viewing gallery where there are charging points, great view, table and it was such a beautiful parting gift before we lift off from Australia. Aspire, well done. It’s all a classy affair. ...

Warm welcome from the reception staff and lounge staff on arrival. Not busy at all. Small, cosy, comfortable and quiet lounge, offering a selection of cold and hot buffet food.
Alcoholic beverages and coffee served at the bar upon request. Otherwise, food and non-alcoholic beverages are self-service.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The lounge has views on the tarmac and also and observation deck. Different areas offering comfortable chairs, an area for kids where they can draw (crayons & paper provided) or watch cartoons on TV.
Travelling can be a daunting experience with all the stress and rush to avoid missing your connecting flight. Most of the time forgetting to feed or hydrate yourself properly.
The Aspire lounge provides a relaxing and leisurely experience before boarding. A buffet where you can customise your own salad, hot foods (pasta, fried rice), desserts cake slices and fruits.
I prefer this lounge to the Qantas lounge as very often the Qantas lounge is very busy and it's difficult to find a table and always a queue to get food.
Food quality is much better at the Aspire Lounge although a small food selection was provided.
Two thumbs up for the Aspire Lounge. I certainly...
