Read the reviews so was prepared for a wait - especially if this has a google rating of 4.7… But told 45 mins: was 70 minutes. Which we didn’t care because nice afternoon and was prepared to wait for a good meal. Unfortunately meal was not good. $13 per bit of fish - was so soggy, thin, and almost the same size as a calarmari ring. $39 for this was not good - especially how thin it was, couldn’t pick it up it just fell apart. Have no idea how this place can be rated so high

A wonderful Barramundi and chips from Joanne and her family at JJ’s fish and chips. What a great find! Really lovely staff, a great ambience, a tasty and lovely candle light dinner near to the beach. The fish was fresh, batter with a great crunch and non greasy. Easy parking in the free car park next to the food truck. We shall visit again next time we are in Nightcliff.

One piece of fish didn't taste right. I try to break it down and examine the similarities between pork and fish. Looks more like a pork. Honestly, in my own opinion, Harry's Fish and Chips are better and the best in Darwin

A wonderful Barramundi and chips from Joanne and her family at JJ’s fish and chips. What a great find! Really lovely staff, a great ambience, a tasty and lovely candle light dinner near to the beach. The fish was fresh, batter with a great crunch and non greasy. Easy parking in the free car park next to the food truck. We shall visit again next time we are in Nightcliff.

What a wonderful find. Best fish and chips I have ever had and wonderful service from the ladies. There are also other food items you can order such as crumbed calamari, hamburgers, salad and yiros. To top if off, some homemade sweets as well. There are table and chairs to sit on under the trees if you don't have any. We sat on the foreshore and soaked up the views. Very relaxing. Free...
