Clemton Park Cake Shop — Local services in Sydney

Im with the first Review as this place being Super Old Skool :D!! You ask any local who has lived in the area for some time where you can get a great tasting pie/sausage roll or some nice cakes Clempton Parks name will be blurted out!!

Its just one of those local pie & cake shop that everyone in the area loves, best way to drop it down is that its part of the community and it wouldn't be the same without it :)!!

Have a ha dful of friends at my work who grew up ib the area and still live in the area or even live out of the area and are still dropping past this place at least once a week for a big order of treats or for just the on your own temptations :D!!

I used to go at the very least once a month when i was growing up, almost as soon as i got my license i could make it a more regular visit :).

They open in the early mornings & can close in the early arvos cause they have no need to stay open any later. Its a manic rush from when they open to just after midday. If you pay them a visit any hour or 2 before they close and they have anything good left call yourself lucky lol.

Heard about this cake shop through the radio. So i thought I would drive and see for myself. I had the curry pie and baked custard tart. Curry pie filling was nice in flavor but very thick texture as it didnt move when i took a bite. Filling was mince meat only no chunks of steak to be seen. Pastry pie top was very nice it had a flake to it. Pie bottom pastry was also nice not to much flour well baked.

Custard tart not nice. The pastry was half the tart, rolled to thick not enough custard. When the custard is meant to be the main ingredient and the pastry is only there to give it support.

Just got a pie to try One of the worst pies I think I've ever had. I ordered a curry chicken pie. They know how to charge for their pies when the majority of the pies have no meat in them just vegetables. Extremely disappointing.
