The Leura Station is a major train station in the Blue Mountains area, as it stands at about 1000 metres above sea level and is situated in the small town of Leura, right next to the major neighbouring town of Katoomba and the Great Western Highway, with trains arriving and departing here fairly punctually via several train lines between the area and the city centre of Sydney. As the town acts as a smaller, but important, access point to the Blue Mountains National Park, the Station is kept clean with well-maintained facilities. The staffs stationed here are also quite helpful and friendly to help, if you need any, and the general environment of the Station is quite a quiet one, with a local neighbourhood around it surrounded by the Blue Mountains National Park.
