Long post, but worth considering!!! We went today, really craving some Chinese after a long hike in the Blue Mountains. We ordered something new, the satay chicken, some sweet and sour pork, chow mein, fried rice, and some appetizers to share with the 5 of us. The waitress even repeated our order back to us twice with no mistakes! At first, they brought out a large fried rice with shrimp, and we corrected them saying that it wasn’t ours. Then they started bringing out our meat plates. The first one was in a yellowish sauce, and we assumed it to be the satay chicken. We started eating, they brought out another meat dish. Honestly, we didn’t quite recognize it as the sweet and sour chicken, and when we ate it, it was a little spicy. Soon after, they brought out another meat dish, saying it was the sweet and sour. Apparently the second meat dish was the satay chicken and the first one that WE thought was satay was curry. It was mistakenly given to us (a second time) and was intended for the lady next to us. They took the sweet and sour chicken back saying that since we ate some of the curry chicken, then we don’t get the sweet and sour that we ordered. The lady who sat next to us overheard us asking for the sweet and sour chicken we ordered and was furious. She went up and fought for our right to get what we ordered because it wasn’t our fault that they messed up twice. The restaurant still refused to give us the sweet and sour chicken, so the lady apologized to us and actually left the restaurant before eating because she was so upset with how we were treated. We were not willing to make a fight, but we still appreciated her willingness to fight for us! So if you’re reading this, thank you! And the chicken curry wasn’t good anyways, so at least we saved you from having to eat it! The workers seemed like nice people, nothing against them personally, but this restaurant had no desire to make things right. Which made for a very awkward rest of the dinner. It was literally just us in the restaurant after the lady left. They made the mistake and we paid for it (literally). Hopefully they will take the bad reviews they get and try to learn from them. But as for us, we won’t be coming back. I’ve had better food at the cheap China buffets back...
Read moreWe did a take away order last night . It took an hour ( when stated 30 mins), I'd rather have full transparency so I can do other things instead of sitting waiting or get takeaway elsewhere given it was 9pm by the time we got our food. I will never go back.
they ran out of spring rolls and only told us last minute and tried to get me the replace it with another dish instead of refunding $. I said no as it would have resulted us eating at 10pm!
order , I ordered and paid for black bean beef. We got chicken instead. We also asked for rice, but none was given.
veg chow meng. They gave us a hand full Of crispy noodle. The waiter should have asked if we wanted soft or fried.
We ended up just eating everything with no sides , so just veggies and fried chicken.
I am Viet so I know what the food should look and taste , it's far from Asian food.
After waiting an hour, it was still not worth the wait. Wouldn't...
Read moreWe will not come back! The owners need to seriously re-think their business strategy as it is inexusable to accept a reservation and not being able to serve food in reasonable time. The appetisers arrived 1 hour after we sat down and ordered. It took them 1 hour to produce two dim sim orders! We had to wait another 1 hour for our main courses, with dishes arriving in 15 minute sequals. My main course arrived 2 hours and 15 minutes after I ordered! When we complained the hostes who was also the weitress and kitchen help, she explained that it's not their fault that they are busy as they received too many take away orders!
What was supposed to be a nice family dinner ended up being a total joke with the kids being hungry, waiting for a couple of hours to get fed in a restaurant that wasn't even full! To make it even a bigger joke, they charged us for the take...
