Worse customer service ever!!

Please don’t fall into their “on special” trap. Recently they were selling AHAMED FRIED VERMICELLI 2 for $4. And those vermicelli MFG:12/2023 pretty new Right!! but they smell really terrible (really old oily smell). We took them back to the store as they shouldn’t smell bad and the girl on the counter said they won’t be able to refund, they have to wait until the supplier has back their money back first, fair enough. so we wanted to talk to the owner.

There where the drama has started, that guy (owner) came with the another guy to show his power. He asked why we open 2 pack when we see 1 pack is smelly. ⛔️Owner intention was to sell the other pack to fool another customer. Our replied was “to see if the one is smelly and other one is good”. My husband said my question is if they dated 3 months ago why it’s smelling bad. Owner said it smells always like that and my husband said we always buy it and we know the smell. And then owner said he never gonna give us refund or anything as we opened both of them. Then my husband was furious and said you are selling product which you should not as it’s not edible . Owner and his mate’s attitude was they wanted to fight with my husband. But the owner appearance and friendly manner in the first place everyone would say he is the best person you could ever met. But trust me or not you could see his true face when you bring any faulty items or opened items which are not edible.

❌❌And they always add surcharge regardless whatever higher amount you spend with them and it’s always hidden, they never mention. I see some shop around where they charge you surcharge if it’s under $10.

I won’t write the review, I know some people around us during this inflation period having tough time with their finances. I humbly request if your budget is low for this Eid, please go somewhere else where refund and exchange policy is fairly straightforward to avoid the hassle.

Very nice shop in auburn for indian, pakistani, nepali and other groceries. You can get wide variety of brands and a lots of options to choose from. There are special deals for regular customers and many more offers for new customers. The owner is kind and helpful and the staffs are friendly and always put a smile on their face, especially the little girl whose name is Nikita Something, she is really respectful and kind towards every customer.
