Reading other reviews, same issue about their "wonderful" customer service.
Where to start. We encountered a very rude, lazy and gruff man, of which I took his photo so I can relay it to the appropriate department. My partner and I were looking at some Magimix food processors and wanted to see a box as to see what's included. He couldn't be bothered to get the key and let us see the box. Just said, "it's right there can't you see it?" Then we said we'd take the matter chrome one. He sighed and got the key. Came back and barely looked in the cabinets. We walked away as his attitude was horrendous. We went to the front counter and asked if they may have had it in stock, which they showed two in stock. A wonderful woman named Vicki helped us out. As we went back to the display he approached us and made a very rude comment about us checking again and he called me a liar. Then he asked where are masks were. I stated we didn't need to wear one by government rules and I also have an exemption. He said yeah right. At this point the other lady couldn't find anything so we said thank you wanted to speak to a manager. I took several photos of this horrible man in case I'd need to identify to the manager. He then confronted us while talking to the manager and kept calling me a liar and saying I'm lying. Arrogant and rude attitude. He said that I couldn't take his photo, which I replied I sure can. There is nothing posted or in the terms of the store that state I cannot. And I will keep the ones I have to let others know to avoid him. He obviously knew he's wrong otherwise he wouldn't be worried his photo would have been taken. The manager didn't apologise and didn't even tell this man to walk away while she dealt with us. Unprofessional and rude behaviour. She really didn't have a solution and seems to be on his side. A worker should never, EVER, approach a customer and call them a liar. Disrespectful and digusting behaviour. Will never shop here again. Ever. Below is the extremely hateful, arrogant, rude person who walks around acting like he's busy. We had NO reason to complain or say anything about him. His attitude and behaviour was atrocious. He actually tried to pick a verbal fight with us. This is how one person can destroy a companies' reputation in one second. If he has treated anyone else like this, I implore you to tell your story. People like this think they can do anything they want. It was one thing not being helpful with a poor attitude. But it's another to come up to customer, speaking to a manager and call them liars, amongst other names I cannot quote here. We told the manager what WE thought about his attitude, his rudeness and apparent laziness. All because we had wanted to see the actual box so that we could find out what was included with the appliance. The employee, as he refused to give his name, was Harinder, Harry or...
Read morePeterâs of Kensington no longer cares about its customers. I will be formally writing a complaint along with notifying friends & family of the appalling treatment I have experienced. I became a frequent online shopper with your company over 10 years ago. I have recommended your company to many people who have gone on to purchase from your company. I was known as loving your company & received a gift voucher from friends for your storeâŚbut the last order I received was a complete disappointment & after speaking with your customer service representative will it most likely be my last! The packaging was not fit for purpose & there is no loyalty as I now have to pay for deliveries. Like most customers if you make a high value purchase - I donât expect to be slugged with delivery fees for slow-mail. Your company has also not stepped up with respect to information on products online, your representative told me I should go directly to the product owners site (for each product) to check the specifications for each productâŚif thatâs the case I might as well purchase in a store or directly with the company. Your competitors understand customer service & loyaltyâŚeg Kitchen Warehouse, Myer, David Jones etc. There is no loyalty options with your company. Given the amount I have spent over the years & all the group purchases organised with friends - some appearing under their name - same addressâŚwhy should I continue shopping with a company that doesnât care. I also expect glass items to be wrappedâŚto be told I could throw a particular glass item on the floor & it wonât break is not trueâŚalso are you going to replace it for me to test the theory? Finally I rang as your website chat feature is useless & expected time is not in sync (2 minutes does not equal 20 minutes in the real world) and then it freezes. So I rang as I was going to place another order yesterday but as I am not based in Sydney (shock horror we donât all live in Sydney) and I wanted to ask about Express ShippingâŚby this stage your customer service representative said âI canât help you & I have to goââŚshe then hung up on me. The fact I was willing to pay express delivery if I could organise a courier for delivery was not even a possible discussion. I also expect that if I pay for shipping & itâs high value goods (over $100 under Australia Post - I would have expected at a minimum signature on delivery - not just dumped at my door. Your competitors offer free delivery & most service Victoria (specifically Melbourne Suburbs) as it is a major state & customer base. However it appears you have gotten too big to care about...
Read moreFor years I wanted a Le Creuset cast iron pot. Not a cheap item at all. I finally decided to buy one. I did my research and found that Peter's of Kensington had the best price. I ordered online and received it a few days later. I unboxed it, read the instructions and commenced hand washing it with lightly soapy water. It was then I discovered little silver scratches on it. I took photos and emailed both Le Creuset customer service Australia and also Peters of Kensington. My boyfriend took it to the Store in Randwick for me and requested their assistance the sales person whom I won't name admitted it shouldnt have the scratches on it and thought perhaps it was a returned item that had been accidently sent out but wouldnt exchange it for a different one. She said she would need to take it and they would have to look into what had happened. No time frame was given at all for how long this would take. I just need to point out here that Le Creuset take their warranties seriously and if a retailer decides to stock them they should follow the Le Creuset policies regarding this. I called Le Creuset directly and spoke to Mark. He agreed it didnt sound right and informed me that it absolutely should not have any scratches on it. He requested I take it into a Le Creuset shop so they could look at it. My partner took it to the Chatswood store they took a careful look at it and where horrifed I had been sold this product. They also pointed out that if it was brand new it would be packaged differently. They showed my partner a brand new pot and its packaging it was beautifully wrapped inside the box and packaged securely unlike the pot I received. Le Creuset took the pot purchased from Peters and gave us a brand new one. I will never purchase a single thing from Peters again. I will go directly to Le Creuset where they value...
