Has been in a state of flux for a few decades, and improving with every step. The banks have gone, the old pie and cake shop disappeared, even Baker's Delight left. What has been left though, is an interesting mix of quality coffee shops, eateries, gyms, chemists, clinics, physiotherapists, thrift shops and other long term businesses (whom probably own their premises). Luckily Coles provides enough (not ample) car parking as the council facilities is woeful. Recent upgrades to the pedestrian "mall" are welcome. There's no one adjective to describe this local haunt.
