Forest Brunch Bar — Restaurant in Sydney

Terrible service and attitude. My parents have been here twice and have been treated poorly both times. The first time was when they took my baby there with a pram and tried to get a seat and was basically given the dirty look. My parents told me they will never forget how that made them feel and swore to next return. The second time was years later, my mum went there with a friend (at the friend’s request) and thought to give them a second chance. It was a hot day so they checked with a staff member if they can move a seat to a shaded area, and was told yes. Moments later, the manager/owner came over and questioned them rudely why they moved the seat.

Shame on you Forestville brunch bar. To be treating customer in this way in such a lovely community is not acceptable.

Do yourself a favour and take yourself to any other cafe in the village, they all are lovely and we have never...

We stopped in on a holiday weekend for a quick spot of brunch. Unfortunately, being a holiday weekend, they were out of/not serving quite a few items, including some breads. Although they did have croissants for my husband’s sandwich, and they put my schnitzel on a bun.

My mochaccino frappe was excellent. My husband really coveted it!

His sandwich was very good as well.

It was nice to sit outside.

A really great place to grab breakfast! I enjoyed a eggs benedict, in which they happily exchanged the Ham for bacon, and it had just the right amount of spinach in it. The hot chocolate was perfectly frothed and came not just with a marshmallow but also with a small wafer piece. The barista was very warm and friendly, and the food came out in good time.
