There are businessmen everywhere in the world. But this place is something different. The owners are compassionate and value humans more than money. Never did I find them rude or misbehaving with their customers! I always see their employees smiling and greeting everyone with love and respect. I was new to Perth during covid times and I was in home quarantine for 14 days. After reaching my Airbnb I realised I have no food there for my 3 year old! I started making panic calls to friends and people whom I knew in Perth before coming to Perth. No one actually helped me. Started giving calls to Indian stores around me and no one was even willing to listen to my problem. The owner at this shop came to my Airbnb with whatever I requested from their shop and the nearby grocery store as well just to help me and my daughter! Now I drive 10 kms to buy groceries from their store despite having so many options around me! They really won my family's...
Read moreI've been purchasing from this store since Dec 2022. They have a good range of Indian provisions and that makes it worth the visit. The general range of products and the attitude of the "senior staff" has been good overall.
They have been running a membership scheme where customers get a stamp for every $50 dollars spent. On the 6th stamp the customer gets a $10 off from the invoiced amount.
However, I have noticed that the "younger staff" do not offer to give an additional stamp if the purchase is over $100 (or in multiples of 50), which is annoying for a customer. They insist that they offer only one stamp per visit irrespective of the amount spent!
It's a surprising attitude considering that it is additional business for them when customers make a bigger purchase and instead of encouraging more business, displaying such poor attitude towards loyal customers will only drive them towards their...
Read moreVery good variety of products. I have not seen such a wide range of food items, anywhere else in Perth.
Staff is very cordial & helpful. Every interaction has been positive. I have only good things to say about them.
Unlike many other Indian grocery stores, they do not give any discount on shopping above certain amount. They do have a loyalty card. If you shop for 50$, you get one star. After earning 5 stars, you get 10$ off in the 6th purchase.
My only concern is that, when I shopped for 100$ earlier this week, I was only given 1 star, whereas i should have been given 2 stars. Apparently, it is only 1 star per transaction. This is not fair since I am spending double of 50$, but still getting only one star. I suppose this will only force customers to shop for 50$ & leave the rest for next shop. Based on my experience with other stores, this scheme can certainly be improved...
