Cornet de la Mer — Local services in Nieuwpoort

Beautiful business with ice to-go as well as a seated area (in- and outside!). The service was super friendly and the food delicious. In the seated area, the food is a little bit pricy, but you receive quality in return. Very tasty coffee also.

Biggest downside for me was that there was only 1 toilet for a relatively large business. When I tried to go, four small children were using it unattended, which resulted in an unpleasant experience. Not the owners...

Établissement très sympa. Propre. Personnel gentil. Glace très bonne. Si je peux me permettre, j’ai été désagréablement surprise de lire une fois installée à l’intérieur que si j’avais pris un cornet avec deux boules j’aurais payé 5€ mais en m’installant à l’intérieur vu qu’il y avait l’avond markt et donc beaucoup de monde dans la rue, je devais payer 3,50€ en plus. Multiplié par deux vu que nous étions deux. Vous me direz que c’est pour le service. Mais juste pour mettre deux boules dans un bol au lieu d’un cornet , avec un biscuit moins fourni qu’un cornet et sans crème fraîche (à ma demande), et le déposer à table, 7€ en plus cela fait beaucoup je trouve. La prochaine fois je prendrai à emporter car c’est délicieux et c’est juste ce que j’ai ressenti. Au cas où vous en tiendriez...
