lovely day in the mineral hot water! There are 3 separate areas with slightly similar options each: 1 big swimming pool, 1 or 2 smaller for kids, jacuzzi, 1 very hot pond and a very cold pond). There are 3 saunas + a snack bar with climbing features for kids. Enough chaise lounges and green areas. Pluses and nice surprises: We visited during Easter and they were offering free hot tea. There's no music, which I loved!! People come to rest here not to listen to shitty auto tune trap and cheap electronic remixes like in the seaside. So kudos for the management to let us enjoy the birds, the clouds, the laughter. Another plus : the fence's bushes probably have leaves in summer but now it's too early in the year and we could see the northern mountains, there are some decorations mimicking roman ruins that look great against the modern hotels. The only minuses I can think of : although there are enough ugly signs banning drinking and smoking in and close to pools, people do it anyways... And the snack bar is pretty bad. Go to the restaurant instead - you will spend the same money per person on good food. 1 of the big pools was closed unfortunately, but possibly because the venue wasn't crowded. The changing room I was assigned to was pretty small. It had only 1 tiny bench in the middle of some 30 lockers, so I wouldn't recommend waiting to leave in the last minute.

Nice place for summer activity, but in the mountain suround. Great pools, clean and cared place. Nice staff. Parking place on the side. Food and drinks in a few bars and a good restaurant.

In winter, the pools are closing at 20h00 (21h00 in Summer). It's enough time to experience an hot bath outside with negative temperatures looking at the stars. Surprisingly, it is not hard to walk by the pools in the cold wind as the water is so hot. There are pools with different temperatures from almost bearable cold to almost unbearable hot. The jets and water falls allow for gentle water massages. The water seems clean. The ambiance is great with people from all age groups. The price is very affordable at 10lev (5€) or 15lev at weekends and holidays. There are robes but you are supposed to bring your own towels. Most of the pools are outside but there is a pool that comunicates to the outside. You can swim underwater from outside to the inner pool and get out for a drink in the bar. The Rila mountains with their beauty and pure air, and this particular pool complex are a great escapade from the big crowded capital. You can trail or ski in the mountais and then relax or swim in the pools, and then have a good dinner on a local restaurant. Staying for the weekend on a hotel or guest house is a big temptation but you should book in advance.

Don't waist your nerves and money here .. And you ask why people DONT VACATION IN BULGARIA? I am from Bulgaria , 30km away from this so called resort and after this " service " I will tell you " DONT COME HERE " .

Starting from the entrance and the not so adequate attitude. Situation be I am asking for two entrance tickets and a two keys for a locker ( man and women, as I am with my boyfriend) . With shouting I am being asked " What keys " , so I am repeating that they need to be for the two genders . By the question is where the lockers and the " dressing " . ( Dressing rooms in quotes because they apparently dont even care to put a curtain....) rooms to be - at the top directly when you enter or at the back.

Of course as we are at the entrance and can know how full the park is and where the people are positioned, my answer will be " There is no matter where ". Will given the bracelets and keys . I ask where the given keys are from with the idea not to room around the entire park but directly to go to the exact point. And on this question I receive the best service ever .....

The woman decides to shout to me with the telling me I am impertinent and I will undress where I...
