Sobeys Antigonish — Local services in Antigonish

The essential grocery store for students and locals alike. Its central convenient location is enough to make it my go to spot for groceries. The produce selection isn't always the best, but I can't fault the store too much for that. On a few occasions I found staff to be a little on the unpleasant side, but that's hit or miss wherever you go in town. I have to give it bonus points for its ready-to-go meals section. The roast chicken is an easy go to when you're just not in the mood...

Sobeys Antigonish big store I love the mall that it's in its actually a Plaza they have everything you need there Canadian Tire liquor store license bureau and a lot of other things inside I can't remember them all but Sobeys a great place to shop they have my butter 20/80 the only place I can find it I always wind up buying 15-20 lb on my way home back to Ontario for some reason I can't get it anywhere in Ontario not even at Sobeys in Ontario...

Atrociously bad self checkout machines that immediately chew you out for not somehow exceeding the speed of light and placing the item into the bagging area; thus forcing you to dump your groceries haphazardly onto the scale only to hold up the line as you bag everything after. It also keeps doubting you if you use reusable bags which we are -encouraged to do-. Who makes a checkout that can't...
