Antigonish Market Square — Local services in Antigonish

A nice little mall with a good variety. Doesn't hurt that the Sobeys and NSLC are close by. There is a name and new (June 2018) spot near the washrooms called the Nurture Nook. It's a space for nursing mom's but there are toys, books and colouring for older kids. An AWESOME little spot. Washroom with change table and there is even a diaper exchange (Take one of you need one, leave one if you have extras). Was especially impressed with the washroom, as most of these places are just equipped with change tables. Lots of space, comfortable furnishings, lots of kid friendly activities - a must see! Would have preferred a little more signage, as I stumbled upon it by accident, hoping there was at least a change table in the...

Lawton's and my Drs. Office are in this building, and finally the mall broke down and paid for doors that you can push a button to open. It's hard to pull a door open and get thru it if you are using a walker or wheelchair without it closing on you before you get thru it. I was told they were too cheap to do it the first time they did renovations and expected people to go to the centre door of they wanted that type of service...Poor service from...

This is one of the biggest and best dollar stores anywhere,,,!!! If I am shopping for an item I always come here first and then buy it at Walmart or Canadian Tire if this store does not carry the item. Most of the time I can find the item here at half the price! Shop here first and go elsewhere only for items you couldn't find...
