Chocolate & Company — Local services in Aurora

After our little hike today, we were craving for some gelato. Since we aren't local from Aurora, we did a nearby search and found this place on google. I got sucked in with the flavours they offer. Next I gotta check out what else is on the menu.. if I want to try something, it's all in 1 go esp I'm never in this area. this is the only place I found that carry mostly DARK!! I was already counting how many pieces I will be getting at this point lol

I'm still going through the box to see which one I like the most. If you are a dark fan, gotta try this place. They go as high as 75%. Their sorbet also 🔥. We got the blood orange and I was tempted to get a pint home (do they even sell in tub?) I really should've brought at least 3 more friends so I can try more flavours. Haha.

Also love their service. As I was settling my dogs outside by the bench since not everyone loves dogs.. the lady actually invite us in. Dog lovers already get bonus ⭐. She was so welcoming and friendly. I also noticed the smile on their faces (the gentleman that works at the back as well) you can tell they are genuine with their connection, and love what they do. This is the best gelato I have had in the city. Firstly, the flavors are so interesting and different. Second, they have the right amount of richness and sweetness without being too much. It's really hard to make coffee gelato well with just the right amount of coffee and sweetness, but you guys did it. Lastly, the lightness of it all. Having had two scoops of two different gelatos, I didn't find myself feeling too full and they weren't heavy at all. The portions were also very generous.

Now the chocolates, I really had no expectations going in, but wow. I am amazed. The espresso chocolate is incredible. Again, this store has done a great job of making the chocolates flavorful with the fruits, espresso, and nuts, but not too sweet. They even put few extra treats in my box.

The staff is super nice, patient, welcoming, and friendly. This should be on everyone's list. A true gem.

Today, I visited with my 4 years old son to get him a scoop of ice cream, but there was only one person working at the front. She was busy wrapping chocolate boxes for a customer who ordered four assorted chocolates. No acknowledgement at all..The employee was clearly stressed and struggled several times to tie a ribbon. We waited for 15 minutes, but she was still working on the boxes. I politely asked if she could quickly serve us a scoop of ice cream before continuing, but the customer refused to allow it. We had to leave without an ice-cream and my son was quite upset....

My suggestion to this business is to add more staff to handle such situations. We left without any ice cream. Despite this experience, we will return because the ice cream and chocolates are amazing, and the owner is very nice. This is just a suggestion to...
