Now I’m giving it 3 stars not because it’s not gorgeous because it really is. It’s just so empty looking so I don’t know if this review should be more directed to the architect in charge of the renovations. So what I really will remember about my first visit is that the building appeared to to be showcasing a staircase. Stairs everywhere. Very bizarre structural layout. If I crawled into the side rooms around the building there were cute but tiny galleries and displays. I haven’t seen any of the meeting rooms but I can say I found the layout of the whole building very odd. I did like looking out the top front window on the third floor though. The glass in the windows of the old section is beautiful. On a positive note, I look forward to seeing better use of this space with more cultural displays in the future. Read moreWe attended.a concert Friday evening and were very impressed with the new addition made to the old building. The concert hall is very modern and classy looking. The quality of the sound is excellent. However, the seating is very noisy if someone comes in during the performance and the seats bounce around when someone in the row moves. Also, the lighting person needs to settle on a given setting and leave it. The lighting kept changing throughout the performance. This was very distracting and often overpoweringly bright.
