formally express my disappointment regarding the customer service I received at your establishment. Approximately one and a half months ago, I purchased deep-frozen products from your store — specifically karela and green channa. I have recently been made aware that these products are subject to a recall.
Upon contacting your store to return the recalled items, I was informed that returns would not be accepted without the original purchase receipt. As a customer who had no initial intention of returning these products, it is unreasonable to expect that I would retain the payment slip after such a period of time.
In situations involving product recalls — which concern consumer safety — it is the responsibility of the business to ensure proper after-sales support and to assist customers in returning or replacing affected items. It stores all the food items (including fresh veggies) you would find back at home at a pretty reasonable prices unlike Walmart where the price swings are a weekly affair here things stay at same price all throughout except for few promotions here and there which is good considering how unpredictable those price swings could be. Secondly this place sells all the other things which you'd need at home like utensils, utility items etc etc. Plus there's is a small gem of a fresh cooked food outlet at the corner where you can fill up a tub with your choice of curries and take my word they are pretty good (plus they sell Samosa). Community is already paying good amount of money on purchasing the overpriced items from the store why not be responsible enough to wear the mask and pay them back by not risking the lives of others. Plus, I noticed the quality of food is getting poorer lately. The chicken curries were used to be better but recently its being served stale and I am sorry to say the stale curries smell bad. Why not the temperature is not being maintained. If you are keeping it hot, it should maintain at least a 140°F temperature and if it is cold, it must be kept at or below 40°F.
