We ordered samosa and Gobi pakoras today..... samosas filling was really oily. And Gobi pakoras was uncooked. You could feel that you are eating raw Gobi and besan. For samosas, this is the 4th time .....before that they served me stale samosas 3 times. This time, it's oily stuffing. I was giving them chances again and again because its near to my house. But they failed everytime. When they were opened, their taste was really good, but now it's pathetic. When I called today that your pakoras were uncooked, they told me that "we serve like that," like seriously!! They are serving uncooked food .... I just want to let them know that we are not paying you guys to get uncooked, stale, and more salty food....... This was the last chance for them.. They give another gobi pakoras and samosas to me because they said they can't refund....... I took those pakoras and samosas, but pakoras again uncooked and samosas with more salt..... Please don't go there they are not good anymore.

I recently visited Doaba Sweets on Remembrance Road and purchased samosas and bread pakoras on August 2nd, 2024. Unfortunately, this experience was incredibly disappointing. When we checked the food at home, we found that the samosas were bitter and sour. The potato filling was stale, emitting a very unpleasant smell. This ruined my day, especially as I had guests over and was deeply embarrassed by the poor quality of the food. Upon complaining to their employee, I was met with a very nonchalant attitude. She casually mentioned that they had given us items from old and stale inventory and offered me credits as compensation. However, their lack of seriousness about customer health was alarming. What if someone had gotten food poisoning from this? I strongly advise against buying from this store. I also plan to report this incident to the Peel authorities to ensure their food is checked randomly, as this kind of negligence is unacceptable and fraudulent towards customers.

Honest Review on Aug 24, 2023 Went there for the first time, although reviews were bad, but wanted to try in real!! Regret my decision.! Buffet items clearly looked stale as they were never touched. Ordered samosas, found hair inside it..felt like throwing up after eating. Watery chutneys, green chutney was literally sour in taste. I throwed away whole box. Prices- higher than Rajdhani and other good restaurants! Lol, are you guys serious? Atleast keep some comparable prices. No quality, high prices!! I live in the same street, but would rather spend fuel and go away to eat, than to come at this place again. Please improve else your business will be down soon 🙏

My friends and I came here yesterday with expectations that service and food would be great, however we were disappointed and upset by the service. It was me and my friend’s first time here as well. Our other friend who is a local from Brampton was also with us. We were disrespected, judged and not treated fairly by the staff members. The staff had an attitude, were rude towards us, made judgemental facial expressions when we asked to dine-in after ordering (since when we ordered, the staff lady did not ask us at all if we wanted to dine-in or take-out), and told us in an impolite way that we had to pay extra money ($3). After that, we still agreed and decided to dine-in, they served our food with no plates and water at all (Instead, they just gave us our food in plastic take-out containers!🫥)…which was highly uncalled for and could have been avoided by their side if they had some decency and empathy towards their customers. When I told the staff that we are sorry because we did not know that we have to pay extra for dine-in, she just said “ohh I am new to working here so that’s why I didn’t ask you, YOU should have told me instead.” So Basically, they wanted us to do THEIR JOB for them, which I do not understand at all🤨🫨. This is completely unacceptable and intolerable behaviour towards customers who one should respect and care for so that they decide to come back again for more, but these staff members completely took that chance away themselves of us EVER coming back to this unpleasant and biased dine-in place. For example, the female staff members were being nice and respectful to the guys, but not to girls; even though the food itself was still tasty but the service ruined the overall experience and trust. Everyone must be treated equally and fairly regardless of who they are, and what they look like, that’s just basic Human rights...

We ordered breakfast from Doaba Sweets for our daughter's wedding. Food was catered to the Gurudwara location where the wedding ceremony was. All our guests loved the food and gave us very positive feedback. All the staff were great to deal with and did an awesome job setting up the buffet and serving the food. Even before signing the contract for catering, we dealt with Baljinder Soor and he was a pleasure to deal with. He gave us recommendations as to what type of menu would work best, accommodated multiple food tastings and there was never any rush when it came to payments. He was more concerned about quality, customer satisfaction as opposed just getting paid. After the wedding he even followed up with me to see how things went and wanted feedback on quality/service. Once we were fully satisfied only then we talked about payments. In addition to breakfast catering we also ordered Bhaji bags that we gave to all our guests. Once again excellent quality and service. I would definitely use Doaba Sweets again for our family events and other catering...

A few days ago I visited this place with my friends expecting that service would be good. However, we were disappointed by the service. We were disrespected and judged by the staff. They were being indecent and had an attitude.

When we asked one of the staff if we could dine in, they were rude towards us. They told us in an impolite and condescending manner that we had to pay an extra $3 just to dine in. When we apologized and said that we did not know there was an extra charge to dine in, the staff member simply made an excuse, saying that since it was her first time working here she did not know to ask us, we should have told her instead.

How can they expect customers to do their job? Isn’t it the employee’s job to assist customers and provide the best quality of service? If they are not trained properly, they should not be working in the first place.

Even after we decided to dine in, they served our food with no plates or water. This is completely unacceptable. Employees must respect all customers, treat them equally, despite who they are or what...
