Freezerland NFLD Inc. — Local services in Brampton

I love this place! There's lots of different kinds of food including already prepared foods and desserts, but you can also get raw items to cook yourself. There's a lot of freezer items but also a pantry section. I often buy the fish and brewis and the touton dough.

Accessibility info: It's a decent sized store and they don't cram the shelves together, so I had space to use my walker without knocking anything over. There's no button to open the door, but the threshold was low enough to push my walker over without getting the wheels stuck on a bump. There's plenty of free parking, but the lot is uneven - water pools and could be a slipping hazard in winter. Attempted to purchase this business after they advertised it was closing unless sold. Paid sizeable deposit on Feb 2 to purchase, on a “first come with deposit, first served” basis. Was asked to have remaining finance matters wrapped up by March 15, so they could hand over for end of March - received an email on Saturday March 4 stating they sold to someone else. I was then required to retrieve our deposit from them rather than being granted the decency of them returning it to us.

Today was the first day for the new Take out, had to check it out. I got an order of fries, dressing and gravy. Their dressing and gravy was tasty. The fries were undercooked (possibly a personal preference) BUT the portions were very small. This was disappointing as I thought the menu prices were good but not for what you get 😞 I hope this improves and the new owners are successful. It will be nice to have a little taste of home ❤️
