Title: Mixed Experience: Excellent Food, Room for Improvement in ServiceI recently dined at Taste of Panjab ], an Indian restaurant known for its delicious cuisine. While the food undoubtedly lived up to its reputation, my overall experience was a bit mixed due to some aspects of the service.Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately struck by the inviting aroma of spices and the lively ambiance. However, my initial excitement was dampened when I noticed that some tables were not clean and still had leftover food from previous diners. This lack of attention to cleanliness was disappointing and detracted from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere.Additionally, I found the attitude of the two girls who seemed to be serving our table to be somewhat lacking. They appeared disinterested and did not provide the level of friendly and attentive service I would have expected. It was evident that there was room for improvement in their professionalism and demeanor towards customers.Despite these shortcomings, the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the food. Each dish was bursting with authentic flavors and perfectly cooked. From the aromatic biryanis to the flavorful curries, every bite was a delight to the taste buds. It was evident that the owner pays meticulous attention to the quality and authenticity of the cuisine, and this dedication truly shines through in the dishes served. In conclusion, while I thoroughly enjoyed the exceptional food at [Restaurant Name], there are areas where improvements could be made, particularly in the cleanliness of the tables and the professionalism of the staff. With some adjustments in these areas, taste of panjab has the potential to provide an even more memorable dining experience for...
Read moreWhile visiting a Punjabi or Indian restaurant, we always keep some sort of expectations and this is the first time I have felt none of them fulfilled. And being a Punjabi it hurts me to write down a bad review for a Punjabi restrurant. It was an unplanned visit for me as I had to pickup from a near by location so I planned to have something here since I had sometime and it was getting late.. alot of parking space ..I will give you that. It took them 15 minutes just to give me a MENU and a glass to have water that too upon asking. Most of the stuff I asked them , it was either unavailable or out of stock such as no thaali or no chicken items were available. I ordered a mutton with garlic naan. Along with a lemon soda.. it took around 20 minutes even when the restrurant was hardly packed with people. There were only 2 to 3 other tables which were occupied. I have been a huge fan of mutton and this is the most famous item as I was told in their restaurant..trust me when I say it. The mutton felt raw. .. they forgot to give me lemon soda and when I asked..she said.they got out of stock and then I ended up having a pepsi..I didn't even get a bill in return.. My only concern is ..this restaurant has a Punjabi word in its name so it should atleast give some respect to that and keep some...
Read moreWent for the very first time for takeout. No staff at the counter. Their little dine-in area was full. Keep in mind that I was the only customer at the counter. Servers coming in and out from the kitchen ignoring me when I am standing in front of the counter. I kept waiting and then a lady comes to the counter from kitchen, looked at me and went back. This went on for 5 full minutes and then after getting fed up with their staff’s ignorance, I approached one of the servers and told her that I have been waiting here for a while which she replied back with,” because we don’t have any more space” I told her that I am not even here for dine-in. Then she says wait here and someone will come take your order. Waited for another 5 minutes, staff coming in and out of kitchen but no one bothered. I decided to leave and order from another restaurant. First and last visit. Should have trusted the old Reviews about messed up customer service. I really don’t recommend going to this restaurant at all if you want someone to greet and take your order. Drove all the way there...
