West Coast Liquor Company — Local services in Burnaby

This is the worst liquor store I've been in my life! A particular rude employee had the audacity to ID my wife and myself at the age of almost 40 yrs old with a full beard. Since we've been there before and understand the law, we decided to head back to the car and grab our identification. Eventually, the same person again, refused to serve me and called me rude for the amount of 4 cans of beer, due to my wife not being with me because she had just quickly walked into the store right next to this crack den to get some food. I didn't wait for her to join me so we could prove how old we are because I walked out of there, EMPTY HANDED, as everyone should!...

This is my favourite liquor store. But I am sad because this store is so far from my new home now... I still shop at this store even though it takes 30 min drive from home.

Pros: Staffs are very knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. I LOVE to shop at this store. This liquor store has a variety of drinks. You will find unique bottles that you can't find in other stores (like BC LIQUOR STORE). They also have good-quality bottles that are perfect for gifts on a special occasions. They open late! You don't need to rush after your work when you forget to buy drinks for a party or partner! Lots of parking. Easy to park.

This is by far my favorite liquor store in the lower mainland. They have amazing craft beer selection, and just recently got a bunch of imported tequila you can't find anywhere else (Corralejo etc).

The staff are super friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable about the products they carry.

No it's not a mistake that I gave them only 1 star. I just don't want all the hop-heads in the lower mainland finding out about this place and taking all the really exclusive seasonal beers that sell out...
