I was not physically actually at this location however I am still going to post this review. On May 28 2020 I placed an order through Door Dash for this location. The order was for 2 Cherry Coke Screamers, 1 Mountain Dew & 1 Bounty Chocolate Bar. The original dasher I had was at the Circle K location for 10 minutes waiting before I received a text message informing me that Circle K had just confirmed my order. A couple minutes after receiving that message I am guessing my Dasher got fed up with waiting or something so I was assigned a new Dasher who I just so happened to recognize because he has delivered to my place before. It took a long time for the order & when I looked at the receipt the only thing it showed on it was, the chocolate bar. It also was very confusing the receipt. The odd thing is that if there is an issue I am contacted about. I received no phone call what so ever. So I called the Circle K location & explained what happened over the phone. The personal I spoke with who did not give there name upon answering was very unhelpful on the matter. When I questioned why I wasn't contacted they said I had to contact door dash. It's not door dashes responsibility to collect the items in my order. It's the Circle K location who is responsible for collecting the items in the order & having them ready for the Dasher when they arrive. It also is the Circle K locations responsibility to contact me if there is any issue. That's why I had the "contact me" feature checked off on all items. Yet I wasn't contacted. The person I spoke with from Circle K was helping a customer while on the phone. He didn't even say "hold on a moment". He continued on with whomever he was helping and then suddenly said something in his own language and I knew it was about me on the phone because he mentioned "door dash" in English. In assuming he was speaking with a fellow employee there. After that the line went dead. They hung up. Absolutely unprofessional. Customer Service was horrible. I will never support this particular location again & I highly do not recommend this...
Read moreI have to say, there was one time I used the bathroom, and it was extremely clean—that was a positive aspect. However, every time I visit, I find the service lacking. Often, the clerk is on the phone when I approach the counter, which highlights a significant gap in customer service. Given that this is a convenience store, service should be a top priority.
I've noticed that the level of friendliness can depend on your nationality, with some customers receiving smiles and greetings while others do not. Unfortunately, this location, like many others, seems to struggle with understanding what good customer service entails. Read moreI've been going to the store for just over a year since I've moved to Penbrooke. Have never had a problem at this store and have had nothing but absolutely amazing service until today! When the so-called owner literally had the audacity to yell at me in his store so unfortunately I will not be coming back to the store nor would I recommend anyone else at least while the owner is working.....
