Topfresh Asian Grocery — Local services in Charlottetown

These guys will charge you anywhere from 150-300% depending on how they feel that day. Can't really recommend when there are other, similar, more honest businesses operating in Charlottetown.

Edit to reply to owner: It has been my experience, without fail, that I am overcharged each time I visit your store. Every single time. Whether it's simply high prices, for example Shin Ramyun Black is drastically overpriced, by at least 150%, or being charged for upwards of TRIPLE the quantity of purchased produce. I haven't argued when this has happened, because it's so obviously deliberate, I preferred to give your staff more rope to hang themselves with. Basically every other Asian grocery in town is better, and doesn't take advantage of their customers the same way. I went there for ramen noodles and ended up buying a few extra things, I loved looking around your store, it was refreshing. Until I went to purchase my things that is. The lady at the counter was happily chatting with one of the customers, and when it was time to ring in my things she just sat there on her cellphone, I stood there for like 3 minutes and when I finally said hello she didn't say anything to me, she just grabbed my stuff and rang it in. No smile, no small talk, nothing. I have never felt so unwanted in a store before, super uncomfortable, it was like I was imposing on her and she was pissed. The owner/cashier is very rude and always has an attitude. She was chatting and smiling to the person before me but when it is my turn she just grabbed my things and made no effort to interact with me at all. When I tried to say Thank you a couple times she doesn’t even say a thing, not even a smile or a You’re welcome. I have never felt so offended, especially when I realize this does not just happen once or twice. I used to like this store because of the location and various offerings but now I will probably say no as there are better options with better service, like Global Grocery on Longworth Avenue.
