Swiss Chalet — Restaurant in Charlottetown

Fantastic service. Great food. In this day and age of allergies etc., the only thing that upset EVERYONE(at least 24people) around us was a woman that must have her spayed her entire perfume bottle on her until it was EMPTIED outside the restaurant, then bundled up her coat tight seconds before she came in. OMGoodness, NO ONE Could breathe . People were asking to move to other seats and the staff were doing there very best to accommodate everyone. We were almost ready to leave, thank goodness. We ordered the Brownie Sundae but couldnt finish our desserts and left the brownie there as they all smelled of perfume as the woman sat next to an empty table away from us. Everything was so Good. We were all having a good celebration. The STAFF are EXCELLENT. The portions of Great food were big And this selfish woman and her overpowering cheap perfume upset a whole restaurant during a busy meal time rush. No one knew until she got in and took off her coat and started walking around. By the time she finally sat down, the smell was everywhere.. . I know it has nothing to do with the restaurant, but maybe people wll read this and know about people that do this. Its not nice to upset that may patron...

This is my first restaurant when i landed in Canada. As a line cook that time we value every single food we put on the plate to satisfy our guest and leave the door happy. I invite my Family to eat dinner last night because roast beef dinner is back on their menu. As a chef i feel disappointed when they handed the dinner i ordered. A chicken roast beef combo. I'm expecting a nice tin slice of roast beef instead they give me a smash beef look like a beef ragu. I feel a shame since i insisted to my Family to go to swiss chalet. My point is why does the server didn't explain to me before hand that the food i order is not the same food as you advertised? And to the back of house man you need to value the quality of the food you serve on the plate. Because at the end of the day the blame fall on you. If you think is not worth to serve don't serve it. Guest are paying for every plate you serve they deserve better. Check the picture yourself and tell me if this the same roast beef dinner as you advertised. Swiss...

Service was good until our waitress told us the wrong information about caa discounts and coupons, and at the end of the meal she came back to the table saying that we couldn’t use the caa card unless it was on a bill with two meals. There was four people at the table including myself who all insisted she did not say this earlier (we had went out with friends which would make 3 bills). Instead of owning up to it, she stormed off returning with a manager. We repeated what we had told her to the manager, and after we said it was just a misunderstanding and agreed to just pay the bills as is without discounts, the waitress said I’ll pay for it very rudely, storming off yet again. The manager cleared it all up in the end, but it caused a very large scene, making it very embarrassing for us all.
