I was very disappointed that the curator of the museum ignored the 4 adults in our party that came with great interest in the museum. It was catered entirely to the 3 children in the group. Very cute I'm sure but got quite boring. It was almost like we weren't even there. It was also like we were captured in the sequence of the events which lasted an hour and a half with no way out. Even my niece who was one of the 3 children wasn't greatly enamored by the "play acting". It is also rather disconcerting to be constantly called to "take the picture now". So family friendly! Most of the museum is hands on. They dress your little ones in period costume and offer them a tea party. They act out different skits from the book and you can take part. I found a brochure for this museum and it was from 2023 buy the information was mostly the same. Jack and Linda were extremely kind and funny. The location is a little far from my home but thankfully I was camping in the area! The gift shop is nice and Linda is obsessed with Ebay. The photo area is lovely and I hope to see the upstairs...
