Our visit to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park was highlighted by a trip to the Capilano Trading Post Gift Shop, where we hoped to purchase souvenirs for ourselves and our relatives. The promise of a 10% discount with our annual pass was a nice perk, but unfortunately, our experience at the cashier left much to be desired. Despite presenting our annual pass and being assured that the discount would be applied, we were surprised that it was not reflected on our bill. This incident was not the first time we encountered such an issue within the park, echoing a similar incident at The Cabin. Upon bringing this to the attention of another cashier, we had to go through the tedious process of having all items rechecked and discounts reapplied. While the gift shop offers a beautiful selection, the inconsistency and lack of follow-through in customer service detract from the overall experience. It's disheartening when promised discounts are not honoured, and we hope that steps are taken to ensure such lapses are addressed promptly to maintain the park's reputation for excellence.

A very large and well stocked gift shop that has been created under the original name of trade post built here in the 1800s. This store is huge and has a very large variety of all types of souvenirs, woolen items, daily use things, art pieces, clothing and apparel, leather items, as well as gift packs. The prices are similar to what you would find in the city. Both the Capilano as well as Vancouver/Canada branding souvenirs are available here. There is a small bakery section as well as Gelato styled ice cream corner. The ice cream is really good and worth trying. Overall a nice store.

A great souvenir store for both Canadian products and for Capilano bridge products. The store is quite large, but it is a little stuffy and hot in there with so many people inside. Price wise, the Canadian products are iver priced. I can understand high prices for Capilano products, but other pure Canadian tourist items can't be justified. Other than that, still a nice store with a great selection.

April 3rd 2019 at 3:30 pm. Bought some items at the trading post. It's obvious that still to this date none of these "" Customer service agents "" have never received any training on how to serve customers. Unlike all other staff at this park, these girls are rude, extremely blunt and cold and they roll their eyes at you if you are even bothered by their negative energy. Never fails. Every single time I try to buy something here I get the same experience at the centre purchase counter. Never buying anything...
