Our experience:

My father had a leg amputated and needed a new recliner that made transferring to a wheelchair easy.

My sister and I went to the Brick in Ottawa to price out chairs.

We received a sale flyer for Blair and Sons and went in 2 days before the sale start date.

Blair and Sons furniture at full price was LESS EXPENSIVE than the Brick's sale  prices!

Erin pleasantly greeted us at Blair and Sons was super helpful. She accommodated my dad's disability by suggesting that 2 chairs could be delivered for my dad to try.

I placed the order the first morning of the sale.

Two chairs were delivered the same day.

Bill and Mario were efficient and friendly with delivery and installation. Bill also placed an order for a longer handle for the wall hugger model La-z-boy that my father selected.

Erin called me to let me know the pricing on the longer handle (only 20.00 including installation).

On the second day of having the chair, my father realised it was too hard for him to get out of and we wondered if the pitch could be changed.  I called Erin and she gave me easy to understand instructions and let me know that if we needed help they could send someone out to adjust the chair. I was able to do the adjustment but then realised that the arms needed to be lower and the seat depth shorter... We picked the wrong chair for dad's needs 😞

I called Erin and she found a chair that might work better. My sister went to Blair's to look at it and thought it may work. Blairs delivered the new selection in 3 hours!

All of the staff we encountered at Blair and Sons furniture were extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to help my father find a chair that worked for his needs.

I cannot express how easy they made this difficult situation.

The price for the La-z-boy wall hugger was only 1099 and delivery was free.

If I lived in the area (or if I ever move back to the area) I would go to Blair and Sons first for all of my furniture needs.

My sister and my mom both say they will go to Blair and Sons for future furniture purchases.

Having decided to finally purchase a new Sofa and Chair, my husband and I stopped in at Blair & Son to see what they had available and pricing. We were warmly greeted by Bonnie Ritchie and given information on the style of sofa and chair we were looking at. We went home to think it over. A week or so later, we went back in and were again greeted very warmly by Erin White. We made our decision and went home to patiently wait for the furniture to arrive. We had been advised approx. 12 weeks so I wasn't expecting to be contacted much before the 26th of July. I received the call on the 17th of July and our sofa and chair were delivered the following Tuesday. I could hardly wait to get home that day.
