“Update” We are now at 3 months and kitchen is still incomplete.. I have now lost count on how many mistakes have been made. We were promised everything would be rectified asap. General Manager Chris Laxdal was more concerned on me removing this review than actually fixing any issues with our kitchen. Going so far as asking our contractor to ask us to take down our review before anything was fixed. All doors were replaced after waiting another 6 weeks to find out Chris forgot to order 2 lower doors to our sink. So we waited again… Our doors showed up and were installed to find out they shorted us two handles, that i am now on the hook for paying for again. Dealing with Chris was a nightmare. So much of a nightmare I'm not even going to try to get him to finish the job. Our walk in pantry was to be made of two tall doors. They originally came in the wrong colour and as 6 doors. I said that right 6 individual doors as a walk in pantry door. 4 were to be pinned together and the uppers were to be separate. Meaning every time we go into a high traffic area in a small kitchen you would have to open 4 doors to get into the pantry. Chris calls that a “custom pantry” The six doors have 2 hinges per door meaning 12 hinges on a pantry door. It looks like a scene from monster garage! The hinges were also to be 170 degree opening so they open flat against the wall. They were not. Those were also rushed last minute to the house after the installer left for us to finish the job…. Chris sent 8 hinges instead of the 12 he fully knew about. We are beyond unhappy with Chris and his team at Kitchen Craft. We will be replacing our whole walk in pantry doors and frame to two doors and less hinges. And one would think after everything Chris had promised us to make things right he would replace the pantry door set up to what we actually ordered and paid for…. No that is not the case Chris will be making me pay another 1800 dollars to fix what they call a “custom pantry” If you are thinking of using these guys save yourself the headaches and money and head pretty well any place other than Kitchen Craft! Chris and his team at Kitchen Craft are there to take your money and run!

Terrible experience. Our second kitchen with Kitchen Craft. Quality is absolutely terrible… just about every single cabinet was damaged on arrival. Custom colours were mix matched a complete cabinet was wrong colour and design. “From another order” drawers were falling apart. The list goes on… We have paid a very high price for our very small custom kitchen in full and its not move in ready. Lost a very valuable trustworthy client over this disaster. We will never use Kitchen Craft in our professional or personal...

Avoid at all costs. Terrible quality and poor communication.

The only reason I am giving them 2 instead of 1 star is because the scheduler and installers have been very pleasant and have tried their best to be helpful given the circumstances.

We did not have any option to choose a different company has we had to have our kitchen re-done through insurance. Not only did the designer not order or design specific details of our kitchen that we had explicitly asked for multiple times, when we tried to bring our concerns forward he did not take any of our calls or emails and took no responsibility for the issues. He passed on our problems (that were caused by him) to be dealt with by the Scheduler.

Upon finally receiving our materials, the quality of our cabinets is abysmal. Most items were damaged during install and shelving and drawer fronts are already delaminating after 2 months of use. The current state of the cabinets looks worse for wear than our previous kitchen which was over 20 years old.

Lastly, we are waiting for the final install of warranty items. An installer was sent out on the Friday of the long weekend with at least 2 days worth of work to be done. An installer was not scheduled for the following week to continue the install and we are currently left for days with a half useable kitchen while we wait for someone to return our calls to schedule the final warranty work.

I don't see this kitchen holding up for more than a couple of years and the entire process has taken over 7 months without the end in sight.

UPDATE: after meeting with management and having a third inspection done all items are still not completed. In regards to the quality, their only comments were that “that’s just todays standards”. So expect to have items that delaminate almost immediately and moulding that are misaligned and coming unglued to be the standard that you are...

We found our experience with Kitchen Craft to be very good overall. Indeed they would have been given a full 5 stars had it not been for some poor project coordination. Our sales rep, Cheryl, was fantastic. She was patient with us as we muddled through the wide selection of options for kitchen cupboards. She made dozens of recommendations to help us build the kitchen we wanted. She stayed in touch as we looked at new appliances to ensure there would be no issues with fit. And she called to do a drop in visit during the install to ensure there were no issues or concerns. Our installer, Dave, was great. His work was meticulous and we have had nothing but compliments on how beautiful our crown molding on the ceiling height cabinets is. Even the countertop installers were pleased at how the cabinets were plumb and level, making their job much easier. He also had all the kickboards and floor trim pre-cut to come back for a final install after our new flooring was in. Our only negative comment was with the project coordination. Apparently the coordinator assigned to our project was changed. As a result our project fell off the radar resulting in a 3 week delay in install. Then we were booked for the post install quality inspection which "due a problem with scheduling software" was missed. Finally, a week after the inspection, we had to call to find out when we could expect the installer to do all the finishing touches so our kitchen was complete. Overall about a month longer with no kitchen than we had anticipated. Still, our kitchen is everything we wanted and we can honestly say the quality of the cabinets is great so overall we are very happy and would definitely recommend kitchen craft....just make sure you keep good...

We had two smaller projects to finish off in our condo. Chrystal was very helpful in helping us figure out the best way to add cabinets and a counter in our laundry room. She was even more dynamic in coming up with a solution for a mysterious space in our bedroom - which was only handy for storing a chair. We knew from the start that there were delays in getting our projects finished, but by the estimated 4 month mark, all was completed. The cabinets and counter top in the laundry room have done exactly as we hoped - and finished off the room perfectly. It's nice to have all our laundry and cleaning supplies hidden behind soft closing cabinet doors. Wayne proved to be a master cabinet maker and transformed that little space into a functional drawer and shelf unit. The bottom three drawer unit was prebuilt, but Wayne magically transformed some boards and trim into a functional and beautiful cabinet above. He was also careful to make sure he kept our home free from sawdust and cut the boards outside. It turned out so well it really looks like it has always been there. And a small thing that made a big difference - we asked Chrystal for a solution to the monotony of grey on grey in our kitchen. With a quick switch, the handles were changed from silver to black. We really like the change - and it was much easier than ripping out tile, which was our original thought. Our experience with Kitchen Craft has been very positive! Oh - and one more thing - Ken, the inspector, was sent out when all was done to make sure everything was in good order and done accordingly. A nice touch to exceptional customer service!

We had our kitchen redone in 2022 and had the pleasure to work with Lina through all aspects of the process. Lina’s knowledge and design expertise was amazing, and her hard work and diligence made the process much less stressful. Lina was quick to respond to our questions; and as this was the first major upgrade we have made in our home, we definitely had lots of questions. Lina brought amazing design ideas when she met with us at our home. The design we chose gave us more storage than we could have imagined! If you can believe it, we still have some empty spaces! Picking the style of cabinets, hardware, and countertops was much easier than my wife and I thought. That’s where Lina’s experience and knowledge really helped. The entire team at Kitchen Craft was amazing, from installation to final inspection. The installation process was enjoyable to see, and Justin, our installer was super. His attention to detail and craftsmanship was top notch. We also had the pleasure of working with Corrie (Project Coordinator). Corrie was a huge asset to the process. The only issues we had were with the countertop installation, but these were very minor issues, and Lina made sure the issues were rectified quickly by working with the countertop company. In saying that, the countertop installers were very knowledgeable and very experienced. Overall, I would highly recommend Kitchen Craft if you’re looking for a kitchen reno. Our kitchen turned out amazing! Thanks Kitchen Craft. Keep up the excellent work!
