Would not recommend! I work with the public and told people I was going here. When asked about my visit, I shared the truth! We booked a reservation for 4pm, asked for a seat with a view and marked it as a special occasion. Upon arriving 5-10 minutes ahead of time. As we went to head inside, the lady(cook) sitting outside with co-worker was abrupt telling us that they werenât open yet! I said okay, weâll just sit on the patio and let us know when we could come in. We sat and waited until another couple had arrived and walked inside, we followed. All the workers seemed to having a great time. We let a young lady know we had a reservation, she showed us to our seats near the bar (no view) I told her we had reserved a seat with a view. She showed us another table and seated us. The table was dirty from the day before! She apologized and brought some cleaner. We asked about a drink, she told usâŚ.iâm not your waitress. Then the best part of the entire visit was our waitress Tanya! The French onion soup was salty and had onion skins which wasnât a pleasant experience. The steak was overcooked, tough, no flavour and dry. No seasoning on steak or mushrooms. The loaded potato was topped with wilted green onion, the mushrooms were black and shrivelled not looking fresh! The waitress insisted on making the plate right (I never send things back to the kitchen) and took both back to the kitchen. The next plates came out, the loaded potato had no onion, steak was cooked as requested but tough and fatty, mushrooms were the same and the worst part was it had hair on the plate, yes hair!!! Not at anytime did anyone mention the special occasion so not sure what the point is in asking on the reservation đ¤ pricey for the bland quality of food. I donât see this place being successful.    Read morePotential of this restaurant in Grand Falls lies in their location. But that is where it all ends for us. Our Saturday night dinner reservation for 6:30 was properly honored. We were seated right away. But something was off from the moment our server approached the table. She looked overwhelmed.What followed was a disgraceful appetizer (fried calamari-- not fresh , rather frozen and fried to a crisp...not at all appetizing..not recommended.)The only quick service we were witness to was the drinks. Hats off to the Bar person who was on top of his game and who I thought was the Manager. He was not. The Manager was truly a novice and exhibited no notion of a food & beverage manager. He was micro managing from behind the bar while his wait staff were running around clearing tables and serving waiting plates to be served which were getting cold by the minute. The kitchen was not at par with who clocked in that night.All looked really disjointed. This was our experience and we were subjected to it. Needless to say..it spoiled our dinner..food was served cold and looked uninspired. The pasta dish is another non- recommend dish based on our experience. It does not happen often, but I could not pay the over 150$ bill before taxes without a complaint. That's when I found out the manager on duty was that young novice behind the bar who overlooked the operation but did not get his hands dirty. In the end without an apology or other options the waitress was the one who presented us with a discounted (50%) invoice balance.I paid it without service and could not wait to exit this location. Blame it on terrible hiring without proper training and expectations from personnel.    Read morePassing through from out of province and chose this restaurant for dinner. Atmosphere and view were really fantastic! Every wait staff excerpt our was friendly, smiling and attentive. Ours (red hair, never told us her name) was cold, inattentive and uninterested in making our dining experience memorable. 25 minutes after taking our drink order (and not seeing her anywhere) we finally saw her at another table, she walked past without checking on us so we got her attention and she came over, asked her if our drinks were coming and she said oh the iPad must not have gone through?? No apology. 10 mins later brought the 2/3 drinks then the 3rd 5 mins after that. Waited over 1 hr for 3 entrees. The food was quite good, big portions, fresh, hot and tasty, plated nicely. After bringing our food she disappeared again, stopped by when 1 of us was done and two still eating to ask if we wanted dessert or more drinks (glasses had been empty for over a hour ) at that point we just wanted to finish what we ordered and go do we declined. Finally at the 2hr mark I went to the bar to ask for our bill and a box. She popped out from somewhere and cashed me out reeking of cigarettes. No apology for the inattentiveness whatsoever.
