My boyfriend and I came in last night for our first time and it was really disappointing.. especially considering all of the good reviews this place has. It wasn’t incredibly busy, there was a sufficient number of servers working, definitely enough to accommodate the number of guests that were there at the time.
When our server came over, she was very friendly, we had no idea what to order, so she offered us a couple minutes with the menu. She came back maybe 15 minutes later and was very apologetic for taking so long. We ordered Donair pinwheels, he got a full rack of ribs, and I ordered the Chicken Brochette with a side of grilled/roasted veggies. Our server asked if we wanted our appetizer first, we did. She came back 15 minutes later and told us our app was almost ready, then informed us that all of our food was done, so we ended up getting everything at the same time. Again, she apologized. When the food hit the table, the pinwheels were piping hot. Everything else was cold. Not even warm. But actually cold. I’ve never sent food back before, but the “roasted” veggies I was given was literally a bowl of raw onion chunks and green beans tossed in oil. Not cooked at all. I was given a Caesar salad instead. I like my salads sauced well, but this was drowning in dressing, I ate half of it because I was hungry at this point, but it was gross. My boyfriend started eating his ribs and those too were cold. So he sent them back. We waited another 15 minutes for them to redo his ribs. The server came over and asked if he wanted a refill on his Pepsi and he said yes. She never ended up getting him a refill until she brought his ribs back 15 minutes later and asked again if he wanted a refill. At this point we were there for almost an hour, we both received cold and inedible food and it was overall just a terrible experience. At the end of our hour long ordeal, he received his bill, and was charged in full, no discount, nothing comped, he paid over $80 for us to have a cold, gross dinner with less than average service. Really disappointed with how things were handled and the price of such a bad meal and experience. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t...
Read moreI ordered by phone saying we were going to eat there. Arrived and got a table fast (cause we called and obviously it was a Tuesday night). The waitress started our drinks, I had to tell her that it was apple juice not orange. So she changed it. Our food arrived, my lasagna was the worst ever. Wasn't even hot(we ordered 2 minutes before arriving there). I ask the waitress " is this a lasagna or half?" She reply" it's because they put it for take out so they simply slip it in a plate after realizing it was eat in." My garlic finger was over cooked . 62$ for the meal we order (we had more things) but that lasagna was the worst. And as a bonus, the waitress came offering dessert I said no thank you (9$ a slice cake dear God 😳), so she brought the bill and the debit machine. My daughter wasn't even done eating. I paid her ( telling her it's cash. I never said it was debit). She said thank you have a good night not even taking the dirty dishes that we were done with. And i can barely use the washroom. Omg its cold in there. It's gonna take a miracle to bring me back there. I even saw the manager in there. So it doesn't necessarily happens when the manager isn't there. I even took a picture of my lasagna as soon as it touches the table. I just don't find how to...
Read moreWe had booked the party room to host a very special friend's 60th birthday party. The party planner of our group spent a considerable amount of money on decorations. When we arrived to decorate for the party, we were told the party room was already in use, and our group had been relocated to a table at the back of the restaurant. There was no where to hang the decorations, set up a gift table...nothing. The hostess just shrugged it off...no apology, nothing. There was also no offer of any birthday promotions, even though the birthday girl had balloons on her chair, was wearing a banner, and a tiara. I understand from your main website that the birthday person either receives a free meal or discount. Neither was offered, and when we asked as we were paying, we were told our waitress was supposed to ask earlier. (One waitress took our orders, another brought them and collected payment.) Our food was good when it finally came, and we enjoyed each other's company, but in the future, we'll be celebrating somewhere else. I was extremely disappointed by the turn of events, but I was livid about the nonchalance...
