KFC — Restaurant in Grand Falls

I was in town for work, stopped at kfc because I had a coupon. Bought two chicken sliders a small fries and water bottle. They overcharged me for the water, I was the only customer in the whole store for lunch, it took about 15 minutes to explain and prove to them they overcharged me for the water which was very frustrating. They gave me back $1.50 from the till. The chicken tenders used in the sliders were luke warm, almost cold and not hot, fresh, or crispy, which indicated to me they were old and had not been stored at an appropriate temperature for food safety. Lo and behold my intuition was right, almost immediately after consuming I was facing sever stomach cramps from mild food poisoning. The fries were not fresh either and were cold and hard. They gave me some ranch sauce to make up for the trouble they gave me over the water where they lied about overcharging me. She took the cool ranch sauce from under the counter, so it was not being refrigerated which I'm assuming it should be. The men's washroom was dimly lit and atrocious and the whole restaurant stunk like a dirty latrine. There were two girls working at cash and one boy who was in charge of the fryer. Worst service imaginable for a staff of three and only one customer. It was nasty. I haven't had time to look up the health and safety inspection, but I'm assuming they're not doing well. I'd recommend they just shut the restaurant until the owner can find competent staff to run it unfortunately. What a terrible...

The customer service is as nasty as the bathroom in this location. The cashier was so rude when taking my order like she has never taken an order before. waited 15minutes for my 12 piece order, while drive through orders that came in after my order were served right away including 3bucket orders the waiting is not an issue, but when you tell a customer that she (cashier) is the one that picks the individual sides … since when? If you have ran out of a side you would say so but that obviously was not the case here when I requested these are the two sides I want- she whipped the sides into the bags then proceeds to tells me she is too busy

Funny thing is I typically don’t purchase food from franchises but the family wanted to goto KFC, this experience just reaffirmed to me of why I don’t goto...

The food was OK, however I had to eat my fries and gravy with my fingers and my macaroni I had to slurp from the container, there was a time they would ask if you needed plates and cutlery, condiments, Napkins, well after a 17 hour drive, im not thinking of these things when I order my meal, so..I totally gapped it about asking for a paper plate and fork, and condiments, So, I know every Nicole counts to a business these days, but the cost of these items is built in to the cost of the food, so they aren't losing anything, so Mr KFC, please train your staff to hand these items out, you're not in India anymore, these small items are what made the chain of restaurants a good chain, at least put napkins with every order, some of your customers come a long way and don't carry...
