Whimsy Street Treats — Local services in Halton Hills

After a nice nature hike at Crawford Lake Conservation Area, made a quick stop at Whimsy Street Treats for some delicious frozen treats before heading back home (July 2020)

Taro & Lime Gelato Twist ($4.00) with added sprinkles (+$0.75) is one of their NEW July flavours and it is vegan too! Lime was a bit tart for me but the taro balances it out. You can't go wrong with taro though ^^ This melts super fast outside, so be sure to lick it fast lol!

Stuffed Cheesecake ($7.25) is a Whimsy Stacker made with vanilla soft serve, real creamy cheesecake stuffed in the bottom, topped with graham cracker crumbs, and strawberry drizzles! This one was my favourite! The cheesecake was a nice surprise at the end :D!

Limited entry - ONE person or family is allowed inside at a time :) If you see someone in the shop, kindly wait outside. Face coverings are much appreciated!

Can't wait to come back again to try their freshly baked donuts and other creations like Cookie Monster...

A few days ago I ended up walking in for some soft serve ice cream. At the desk they have a plastic partition between themselves and the customer. After I ordered my ice cream, the cone was passed to me and the partition had shaved off about 1 cm off the top. The clerk did not take away the ice cream or offer any assistance , I had to actually ask. Something I'm about to eat just touched something that multiple people touch/breath on, on a regular basis and I was so surprised the natural reaction was not to correct what had just happened. Also, besides the customer services being poor the quality of the soft serve really needs to improve. The taste is just not good for being a "PREMIUM SOFT ICE CREAM" according to the site. Overall, I can say I will be taking my business elsewhere! DQ or McDonald’s is just mins away with better customer service and more bang...

On a hot summer evening we finally made to nearby Georgetown to a long marked place. They also sell donuts, however none of them were vegan.

The Vegan affogato with vegan soft serve was good, the espresso shot a weaker than we anticipated.

The milk shake was good, heavy, rich and creamy. With all the toppings it looked and tasted very good. The Vegan Twist soft serve with vanilla and pomegranate was good. The vanilla when tasted by itself tasted vanilla-plain. But the pomegranate soft serve was outstanding, a bit tart, rich, creamy and vibrant. When tasted by itself as well it was just as good.

The inside there some tables as well as a couple outdoors, but it started to drizzle when we tried to sit outside. The girls serving were good and understood which regular ice cream flavours had eggs.

Definitely coming back to try different...
