The food is okay. The service was good. But I don’t think the quality of the food was something I’d ring home about. We tried the Brisketeer Platter, and the stuffed Yorkshire puddings. The platter included a variety of items such as brisket, chicken, pulled pork, coleslaw, ribs, and a biscuit.

Food review: The chicken was good, it tasted fresh and had a sweet bbq sauce glazed on it.

The ribs were fine, they had a good flavour.

The brisket was fairly disappointing considering this is the name of the joint. I found it to be quite dry and it tasted like it was made the day before.

The Mac and cheese was good very well but it didn’t have much of a flavour.

The yorkies smelled very yeasty and were a bit underdone, the filling with the mash and gravy was good.

Slaw was good.

Biscuit was dry.

My table mentioned that it’s a shame they didn’t have cornbread, which I think would be a good substitute.

Overall the place is okay, but could improve on quality and overall freshness/ flavour. I don’t think it’s something that beats going to a rib fest, but with some improvements it might be comparable.

If you’re interested in trying the place, take a shot and see what you...

This was my first time here and I definitely admire the setting of where this restaurant is located. You can go for a nice stroll and check out what this town has to offer.

In terms of food, I ordered the 1lb Brisket, Mac & Cheese on the side with a Shirley Temple as a drink(MockTail). It also came with a slice of Garlic bread and coleslaw. I wasn't a fan of the brisket, I think it's missing something and I don't think the BBQ sauce goes good with it. The beef itself is very plain. The coleslaw was a little more enjoyable, but it isn't great.

However, The Mac & Cheese & garlic bread are really good though! Those two were definitely my favorites of all the dishes. The bread has a nice crispy texture to it with the right amount of garlic. The Mac is nice and tender and the taste of the cheese is yummy! The drink is also nice!

The waiter was new but he did the best he could to provide good service in which I was satisfied with! When he didn't know the answer to a question, he was sure to ask his coworker for help. I only wish I knew his name to give him a shout-out!

I would come back here, but I would definitely...

WASTE OF MONEY! Complete disappointment. Driving through town with my family, we decided to try take out from this place. None of us enjoyed our meal. Tried the Brisket Melt. For $19 it was a puny kid sized sandwich that'll leave you hungry, and lackluster overall. The side Caesar Salad was served with dressing on the side that was nowhere near enough to coat the salad, didn't see any cheese, and the dressing was bland. I felt like I was eating plain romaine lettuce. The Mac and Cheese that I ordered for my daughter was literally gross, she wouldn't eat it, and once we tried it we realized that none of us would either. Went straight in the garbage. Tasted like macaroni tossed in cheap nacho cheese sauce. Would've been better off with KD, which is saying a lot. The Brisket Poutine was dry, lacked gravy and had no cheese curds. There was nothing redeeming about anything at this place. Portions are tiny, food was expensive for what you get, on top of the food not tasting good at all. Do yourself a favour and save your money for anywhere else. Shocked this place is open, and that it has...
