Edit: Jeremy, the manager called me the following day to apologize about this and went out of his way to make sure this did not happen again. He ordered the part I needed from a few different places to make sure we would not run into Ă n issue on Jan 11.
Jeremy made sure to be present on the day of my appointment to assure everything would be completed and to make sure we had no other issues.
He also went above and beyond and refunded the remote starter back given our previous issues.
I have and would recommend Visions as they strive to make and keep their customers satisfied!
I have not had any issues with the starter since it's been installed! Thank you Jeremy again for your outstanding service!
I called Visions on Dec 23 inquiring about a remote car starter. The guy on the phone confirmed they had it in stock and they could install on Sat Dec 28. I went straight to the store and purchased the car starter and then was told they had no availability on Dec 28 and they were not sure why I was told that. They said the next available date would be Jan 2. I said that's fine, no problem. I went to the store today for my appointment and was told by the employees I had no appt booked for today. I showed them my receipt of my purchase and the date/time that my installation was booked for. They told me nothing in their schedule for me. They spoke with the installation guy who said he could fit me in at 330pm. I said sure since I already wasted my time going to their store to get the installation done. I left my car there and went shopping in the plaza. 45 mins later I get a call from Visions saying they now don't have the harness that they need to install the car starter and they have to order it which it won't arrive for a couple of days. I wasted my whole day there to find out no appt was booked for me and parts not available. Makes no sense because the harness was included with the car starter package I purchased, which they are still currently advertising as "in stock". Now I have to wait another 1.5 weeks for my next appt that they hopefully schedule. Waste of 3 weeks total due to their lack of schedule an appt and no parts available when they advertise all over the place they install and have remote car starters in stock.
Save your time and go elsewhere if you do not want your time wasted or make sure they actually book an appt for you and have parts available to do the work.
While I was waiting and standing around for them to look into my appointment, there was another customer there complaining about his purchases and promises he was given by Visions but he did not receive and also drove out of town because of their "great unbeatable prices". There's a reason why their prices are unbeatable...because they only give u half the promise and no guarantee on their words. Seems employees say only what you want to hear and you find out the truth when you are there picking up the product after they've take your money, only to find out none of what they promised is true.
Would not go to Visions again in the future or...
Read moreI found a camera lens online that I wasn't able to find anywhere else. New, demo or used, they just weren't readily available. I could order one from Nikon but it would take weeks. I needed the lens in hand within five days for a contract job. Seeing the Visions Electronics had them in stock I Googled reviews before making my purchase. The overall reviews weren't great. I called the main number and was on hold for seven minutes (it's boxing week, expected) - when I made contact the rep looked up the stock, told me which stores had it and gave me numbers to call directly, explaining that I could get it delivered faster by doing this. First and the closest store I called said they only had the one and that it had been purchased earlier that day thru an online order. They apologized but shared the same info that another store had one. Called the second store, located a couple hours away, and they did have it in stock, he went and got it in his hands and set it aside for me to drive out and fetch the next day. Upon hanging up the first store had emailed me back asking me to call them, which I did. They said they had a demo unit on the floor that was in the wrong box, but if I was OK with that they could put it aside for me to come check out. When I got there the lens had since been reunited with its original box and all associated papers etc. The lens was in premium condition. I bought it on sight. Rhens effort, made twice, found me what I needed, located all of the packaging and saved me four hours of driving. When it was believed to be boxless, they had included an extended warranty within in the listed price. When I got there and they had since located all of the packaging they still included the warranty offer. Rhen was my rep, he and every other point of contact at the Fairway location was fantastic. Having read the poor reviews I was bracing for the worst, when in fact they delivered with the best....
Read moreI had contacted Vision Electronics about the 55' Samsung S90D. I had seen it online at The Brick for $1599. It was posted as $1798 through Vision Electronics. Knowing Vision Electronics has a 15% price beat guarantee, and a 36-month financing option, I wanted to get it through Vision Electronics.
I went into the Kitchener store location, I showed the associate The Brick's price compared to theirs, and after about 10-15 mintues of waiting, the associate returned saying they could match the $1599, but wouldn't beat it by 15% because "it's not even in stock at The Brick". False, it is. I could of picked it up or get it delivered by the 12th.
2nd, and that was before I confirmed that the S90D was actually in stock, I was about to complete a 36-month financing purchase for the S90D, and then was told the administration fee would double because the price was over $2000. So, I said why don't I pay the difference, which was around $140-150 to get it below $2000 so the administration fee would not double (which didn't seem right either). The associate then told me I could do that, but I would have to still have to pay the administration fee upfront. I was very frustrated, because I had financed through Flexiti before and the price, including the administration fee, was included in my monthly fee. When I mentioned that, the associate said I was lucky because that's illegal. After that I walked away. I know that's a lie because I can go online at The Brick right now, for $1599, (update it's back up to $1799 now) purchase the 55' Samsung S90D, plus a 3-year warranty which brings the total price above $2000, the administration fee still remains $149.95, this is through Flexiti as well; it does not double. I am not impressed and will not be shopping with Vision...
