I think it will be hard to do better on the grand Montreal region.
First, the flavors. While you will find all the classics (Vanilla, Strawberry, chocolate), you will also find surprising one (Crème brûlé, almonds, "Joie", etc.) all as good. Personally, I'm dying for the sweet pistachio and the chocolate-azelnuts.
Second, the service. Always super welcoming, always smiling, friendly owner and family!
Third, the parking. Yep. In Montreal in many places parking is a challenge! Not there! (Will love a Tesla charger to be added 😁)
Forth, the cleanness of the place. Seriously, cleaner than our hospitals! Always super comfortable to stay.
Fifth, the options. If you are starving for something else, there is salty options, and awesome espressos.
Last.... They project formula one Grand Prix... And yes, when they start racing at 1AM they open 30 minutes before so you don't miss the start!!!

His behavior changed and he was rude and tried to blame the problem on me. This place is racist and if you are brown, black, or group of minorities, avoid this place at all cost because they only treat Italians and white people with respect. the owner offered free ice cream as an apology on the phone, but when I actually went into the store, he made it sound like I was the problem by saying "there is always two sides of the story" while on the phone, he genuinely sounded sorry. All this only proves that he was only nice to me on call because he did not know my race. If you are not white, don't go there. There is a significant difference on how they treat white people...

I absolutely adore the décor! The gelato is delectable, rich and creamy, and every spoonful quite satisfying! They have a great variety of flavours. On the evening that we visited, they also had 6 vegan gelato options as well as vegan milkshakes (a rare find in non-vegan restos). Although we did not try these, they also sell coffee, croissants etc. The resto offers parking as well as outdoor seating (i.e. a few picnic tables). Marco, the owner, was very accommodating. He took my group reservation (we were 11) and was very kind and gracious on the phone as well as in person the day of. The young staff that served our group was also very professional, efficient and patient! I highly recommend and will definitely return...
