Unbelievably rude and somewhat creepy customer service.

My mother brought my partner and I in for our first time Tuesday July 9th 2019 in the afternoon for a browse at the downtown Midland ON location.

As soon as we were spotted, the salesperson proceeded to intensely stare at us with quite an extreme look of judgement and disappointment everytime we were in her field of vision... as we left the backmost room which contains mostly tables, the salesperson rushed to it and had a look around and quickly rushed back.

The salesperson in question is a middle-age woman, shoulder length dark brown hair... and bulging eyes.

We thought maybe we were being discriminated against because of our masculine gender, or sexual orientation, or typecasted as thieves because of our younger age... But seeing all these other reviews, it's obviously a case of horrid customer service due to greed and fear based living.

Very disappointing customer service to a loyal customer. A friend of mine who was a frequent shopper here purchased a lovley pull out couch. The sales person at the time...the owner mentioned that this couch had a fantastic memory foam mattress. Trusting the owner knew her product, my friend purchased the couch as she wanted something comfortable available for guests when they visited. When it came time to pull the couch out for guests, she learned that there was a very uncomfortable, 4 inch, cheap spring mattress. She contacted the buisness , sent photos, emails etc as she had paid for something she did not get. They gave her the run around, and told her the warranty was up, there was nothing they would do about thier mistake. Not a very good example for other local businesses, and the loss of a loyal customer. If you are buying a sofa bed, pull it out in the store and check it yourself so this doesn't...

My friends and I have travelled from Barrie to this store several times. We have purchased many things there and have spent a lot of money there over the years. They need a lesson in customer service, including the owner. They are so rude to customers, I think it would kill them to smile at people. I believe in supporting small business owners, but don’t feel like supporting this one anymore. Today while we were there, one of the sales staff continued to follow us around the store for over half an hour. Creeping up behind us every 2 minutes like we were common criminals. They should take some lessons from the staff at Pebble Tree across the street, so nice!! I will no longer shop here and I will not recommend my friends and family to either. Shame on you...
