My husband and I came to Oasis less than a year before our wedding and when I tell you that we were met with warmth, enthusiasm, and genuine care – I mean it. Planning our wedding over 2 years, we met a lot of people in the wedding industry who “cared” about us, but nothing compared to the amount of love and care we received from Danny. He rolled out the red carpet for us, he delivered on all his promises, he went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we wanted for our big day, and we will forever feel indebted to him because of that. No one we met in this industry has the heart and passion for their clients like Danny does. He took care of us from the moment we stepped into his establishment, through every doubt and fear, through every bad interaction from other vendors – he made sure we were taken care of and that we had the wedding of our dreams.

We requested a Portuguese menu for our wedding and to guarantee everything was to our liking, Danny held a food tasting for us and our families. He took our notes and our feedback, double and even triple checked before the event to ensure everything we had discussed was noted to his staff and everything turned out PERFECT!! The food was not only delicious, but the portions were incredibly generous. Everyone was so full by desert that they could barely get through the late-night food station, but when they got to it, they raved about how fresh the seafood and chicken wings were, and loved the variety of cake and pastries that came with it. My husband even asked for a little waffle station during the late-night portion (it was not something that was offered) and Danny DELIVERED!!! He even accompanied the waffles with ice-cream and different toppings so that guests can make their own (and it was a HIT!!).

Also to mention - the venue is fantastic. From the green wall to the grand piano and the stunning chandeliers it was jaw-droppingly gorgeous. The place has a modern, clean vibe which was perfect for our vision. During our event, the place was always clean – I constantly seen staff coming around and picking up garbage that had fallen on the floor to ensure the hall stayed maintained and proper throughout the night. The staff was also so incredibly lovely, always with a warm greeting and a smile on their face and making sure our guests had everything they needed throughout the night. The bartenders were also amazing, the drinks were flowing, and our guests were in awe of how incredibly generous they were with their drinks. Not one complaint!!!!

Danny you were an absolute dream to work with and your staff are so attentive and incredible, the food delicious, fresh, and plentiful. You were the most incredible human being we have ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with. We will never be able to thank you enough for the attention to detail, the dedication, and the love you have shown us throughout the process and especially the day of the event. We had our wedding at the Oasis Convention Centre on June 7 2025

We book our wedding here during an incredibly stressful time, after the unexpected closure of the Grand Olympia (if you know, you know) we found the Oasis convention centre and immediately fell in love. We had actually booked our wedding back in 2023 at the Grand Olympia, and then it suddenly closed on us, leaving us scrambling to find a new venue. With everything up in the air, The Oasis truly stepped in and helped us pull off the wedding of our dreams. Their professionalism, flexibility, and attention to detail made all the difference. We are so grateful to have found a hall in just 18 days, and we truly believe God sent Danny from the Oasis to make our wedding a perfect day. We had the whole building to ourselves and even did our ceremony there, which made everything so seamless and special. Because of the size of our event, (400+ people) Danny kindly let us use the hall days before to set up our own decorations and our personal touches, which took a huge load off our minds and helped everything run smoothly on the big day. A huge shoutout to Danny and his team, who were incredibly organized and made sure everything was done right. Danny went above and beyond to help us out due to our situation. He understood what we were going through and made it his priority to make the day perfect for us. He stayed helpful, and supportive the entire way through, and even cracked a few jokes here and there, we’re honestly so thankful for him. The renovations that they did on the hall does not go unnoticed, the hall has truly transformed since the last time I’ve been there (many years ago).

Now let’s talk about the food—it was fantastic. Everything came out hot and fresh. The Portuguese green soup was traditional, made with collard greens, not kale!!! It was delicious, The beef and chicken were full of flavour and served in full portions. The pasta was delicious and hot, the salad was fresh, and honestly, the midnight buffet was my absolute favourite. The presentation of the midnight buffet was phenomenal—you could tell everything was prepared with care. If I had one suggestion, it would be to have two trays of each food item on each side of the midnight buffet instead of just one side, especially for weddings with a larger guest count like ours, It would’ve helped the line move faster—but regardless, the food was well worth the wait.
