SUSHI KING — Restaurant in Mississauga

Ordered from them one time and never again ! My order was extremely clear that we are VEGAN. Also detailed specifically - No Fish, No Meat, No Dairy. When order arrived it was wrong and I could tell the order contained fish. The restaurant returned with the proper order, and once more I questioned the owner that the item was "fish free". He insisted it was.. however I could tell by his appearance he was lying.. I advised him "I am allergic and if I eat this , I will have a reaction and die!" .. he smiled and said "well yes it does have fish". Seriously ?? Shut down every restaurant that does not have the food safety knowledge or integrity to operate and place people in harm. I have reported them to Uber Eats and strongly suggest noone support a restaurant that dismisses the client's food preferences or allergies, and then lies about it. Disgraceful.

UPDATE TO MY REVIEW: The owners have assured me they will learn from this experience and will ensure more attention and time is spent training themselves and their staff on ensuring food safety is paramount. I have expressed very seriously to them my concerns that preference or allergies must be a focus when handling food and the public and they have assured me they will spend more time on the education of this. They were quite apologetic which is appreciated, however I do hope that lesson was learned before someone's physical...

Once again... it's not what the outside of a place looks like... it's about the quality that resides within! Sushi King 👑 was great!! the stripmall where it's located could be best described as 'sketchy'... complete with abandoned car front and centre and store fronts that have not been adequately maintained. sorry for the side story but don't let this stop you! breach the doors of sushi king and get rewarded... the interior is very clean and inviting... nothing you would expect from the exterior.... ok ok on to the food.. as always the test is black dragon red dragon... and both were great... really great. portion size was best so far... sashimi that topped the rolls were substantial and fresh. Miso was very good as well. The presentation was appealing... and the staff/owners very friendly and attentive. note that there is not alot of interior space so you could be waiting for a table... lucky we didn't. definitely recommend and will return... fyi 15% gratuity added to cheque when dining in... but pleased to...

My cousin and I were hungry on our drive home and noticed this place while waiting in traffic and decided to pull in to try the food.

On the outside the building itself is a little worn down but when you step inside it is more spacious and open than you would expect. Another plus is that the bathroom is super clean!

Staff were helpful, nice, and patient as my cousin does not speak much English and it was refreshing to have staff that help guide her through the menu.

We were initially enticed by a sign stating that 10 piece rolls started at $3 (vegetarian rolls) but decided to opt for some slightly more expensive rolls.

Our total was $13 with both sushi rolls and miso soups! Not the most amazing sushi we’ve ever had but for price and quality it was very much...
