Feb 5, 2025 Mexican sever was nice. Food is an insult to clients. Coffee was cold, and rewarmed on microwave (this one is understandable). Chorizo was dry, patacon was oily and re-eifried. Almojabana and buñuelo were hard as rock. The buñuelo was dense, the dough very overpawering. (Like the ones I made last christmas, for firts time in my life, that nobody ate.) __________________________________________ I'm sorry that you can't take criticism. I visited the place a year later Oct 18 2022 and guest what, food was terrible. Beens were unsalted and hard on the bandejas, and so on.... ________________________________________ Food is ok and no more than ok, but what kills this place is that service is so unatentive and unwelcoming. I will never make a bad review on place based on one visit, as everyone has the right to get off of bed on the wrong foot once in a while and that's not the owners fault, but that has been my experience in every single visit.

Absolutely great!! Everything you would expect in a Latin American eatery. Mostly from the Colombian, Venezuelan, Chilean, Argentinian influences (not Mexican). There's empanadas, arepas, tequeño (also called cheese sticks or palitos de queso), bandeja Paisa, etc. The prices are perfect for the food portions offered along the variety of choices. The service was also fantastic; this is one of those places that I honestly recommend 100%, hands down, one of the best Latino places in Mississauga / Lakeshore!!

The beef empanadas are to die for! Great cheap place to grab a quick bite. Very authentic, no frills take out restaurant. We also love the tamales. We take it for a raining day and heat it up when we don't want to cook. We also bought frozen arepa con queso for the first time. We'll heat them up in the toaster oven. As you can see, its kid approved!

I just visited this place for the first time a couple of days ago and was really disappointed. I ordered their meat empanadas and I don't know what the filling was made of, but it definitely was not meat. It felt like I was eating a mix between SPAM meat and pùté, a ball of flavourless mush. I purchased 25 as I was hosting a dinner party and unfortunately they did not make an impression on my guests either. I wouldn't have minded the $55+ that I paid if the quality would have been good. I wish they didn't cut corners like this. Definitely not going back, not to mention the potential...

When I visit Colombia, I love buying antojitos, which are basically a savory snack. But this particular store is not offering what you are told. Their antojitos should be called , Phantomjitos. They look like antojitos from the outside, but with mashed pototoes. You ask for a cheese filled, and you get a pototoe filled, with a whisper of cheese. You ask for a chicken filled, and you get pototoe with a hint of chicken. You ask for a beef filled, pototoe again......you know what I mean...as the price rises, more the đŸ„” potatoe.

I figured it was time to...
