Niagara Falls has finally been graced with a store that serves all your Latin grocery needs! The owners are super friendly and very helpful. They make their own homemade goodies that are sold at the store too! I tried the salsa verde, pozole, and chorizo made by Melissa and Pranay (who, by the way, is a chef by profession!)- they are honestly the most delicious and authentic home-cooked Mexican dishes I’ve ever had! The mouth-watering babkas and tres leches cake by Artesano Bakery can also be bought at La Paisana. You can find everything you’re looking for at this store- from snacks to household items and farm fresh vegetables and fruits. The mural on the wall is definitely a wow factor! I didn't know I could have a favourite grocery store, but here we are. La Paisana is a beautiful store - a lovely wall mural sprawls across one entire side of the bright space - run by a lovely couple. Melissa and Pranay are very knowledgeable, warm and welcoming. A fantastic selection of Latin American groceries, everything (their in-house chorizo & salsas are to die for) you might need for your next taco night, and more! A wide variety of exotic fruits (so many types of passionfruit!!) reasonably priced high quality meat, delicious frozen snack options (Paz's cheese dots are ridiculously good).. the list goes on and on.

Been here on my trip to Niagara. After looking out for recommendations for real Mexican food along with some Latin supplies, this was the only place which came up. Was a bit puzzled but later found out that this place is essentially a Latin grocery place which is also known for it Mexican delicacies since the owners have a Mexican root. The pork belly tacos in Morrita were one of the best tacos I have ever had! Also tried their pulled chicken empanadas which were on point! Theu do have a variety of freshly baked goods too! Wish this place had a dine-in, they are that good! Wish them all the best and hope they expand soon! A gem in Niagara...
