The Flower House — Local services in Niagara Falls

Ordering for Mother's Day this past Sunday, was a great experience with The Flower House. When I Googled for a small, independent florist in Niagara Falls (Ontario), I had expected a long delivery date, and over-priced flowers, since it was the Wednesday before MD. Wrong!! The assortment of bouquets, and the vibrant colors were wonderful, and all well priced. My mother in law loves bright yellows. I chose a pretty basket bouquet, with yellow roses, and an assortment of other yellow and white flowers.

The ordering process was simple, well laid out, and just easy peasy! The following morning, after placing the order, I received a call from MIL to call the florist. A bit confused, I returned the call. A very sweet, and funny young lady, Sam, was worried about not having a stated flower for the bouquet, and wanted to discuss a replacement bud with me. I was happily shocked! This small, crazy busy shop (2 days before MD), took the time to chat, ask about flowers my mother in law liked, and genuinely wanted the bouquet to be perfect. It was a great conversation, and deeply appreciated.

My Mother in law called me just a few hours later, SO happy! She kept repeating how big, and beautiful the flower bouquet is. She sent pictures, too, and it's HUGE, & GORGEOUS!! We are incredibly happy, and very impressed with the consideration, care, and kindness The Flower House put into a simple bouquet.

I know I sound like a broken record, repeating myself, but the flowers made my MIL so happy, and bring her so much joy, each day she sees them. If you need flowers, you NEED to order from The Flower House! We are very happy, and can't thank the ladies at The Flower House enough, for the stunning, beautiful bouquet, my mother in law received. The Flower House deserves your business, and you won't be disappointed. Thank you again, so much, Sam, for the gorgeous flowers. We will definitely order from The Flower...

If you aren't from the city and ordering via phone, ORDER SOMEWHERE ELSE. The picture below is the flower arrangement I received for $205.00CAD, which I had bought via phone for a funeral! There are 20 steams in this arrangement and greenery. This comes out to be over $10 a steam and they're not even all premium flowers(roses), and this occasion didn't occur on a holiday either. When I went to the viewing of the funeral they had miss spelled a name on the card and I had contacted them the same day to change it because this is an embarrassing error. Someone advised me this would be changed, the next day at the funeral there was no correction. How do you justify charging $205 dollars for this arrangement? This is terrible. I can get a better, more plush arrangement in the heart of downtown, this is a premium. You should be embarrassed as a company trying to justify ever error over the phone and coming up with ever single excuse.

Very disappointed I called from Montreal to get flowers delivered for mothers day. Everything was very explained in details to the lady on the phone I asked for 65$ bouquet. I wanted geboras, daisies and tulips. I asked for light purple, pink, yellow and white. I asked for the flowers to be delivered on mothers day Sunday. I also asked if she could text a picture. Everything was yes. The flowers ended up being delivered Saturday night and left in the mailbox while my mother wasn't home. She showed me the bouquet on video call, the bouquet was full of ugly greens, all white daisies and purple. No geboras, No tulips, no yellow and no pink. I called the lady to asked what happened why they didn't delivered on mothers day, she says we were too busy. First of all don't make promises on the phone that can't be kept, second of all if you're too busy at least have the decency to call your clients to tell them what's going on! So...
