Hello, my husband and I are repeat customers of the North Bay Leons and have been for the 30 years that we lived in the area. We have always been pleased with the quality and service we have recieved at this location. We purchased a sofabed as well as the extended warranty through ZucoraHome in 2019. There was a problem with the internal mechanism in the sofabed that presented itself after we sold our home and moved in 2022. ZucoraHome sent a repairman to our new address who assessed the mechanism and a refund was authorized at the North Bay store. Due to our move we asked that the refund be transferred to the Huntsville location. My husband and I attended the Huntsville location and were greeted by a sales representative named Evelyn. After explaining the situation the representative became what felt like condescending and irritated. She verbally expressed distain for ZucoraHome and the situation itself and overall she was just unpleasant to the point were my husband and I left the store. She telephoned me five minutes after us leaving and stated that she was now aware of the refund however; it would take a week or more to transfer, that we only have a 30 day limited time frame from the day it was authorized to recieve our refund and that the refund must be applied to specific items only in the store. I asked what the refund policy at the Huntsville store was and she became arrogant and stated "All refunds must be approved by a manager and are subject to a 25% restocking fee" I told her thank you for her time and ended the conversation. I telephoned the North Bay location and Jesse was extremely sorry to hear about this encounter and he said he would be more than pleased to help us in any way he could. We drove the extra hour to the North Bay location and applied our refund without any hassles what-so-ever as always the sales staff were extremely pleasant and helpful they made our day. Mark said they could store the furniture in their warehouse until our newly built home was ready. That move in date was December 15, 2023. The drivers got stuck on a closed road so by the time I arraigned for someone to pull them out, they were hours late. They had a lot of furniture with them as we had to replace everything. They left around 10 pm. We ordered stackable washer and dryer but they forgot about that. The fridge which has a water dispenser doesnāt work and no one has come to fix it. A headboard for one of the beds did not fit. They were made aware of all the issues the following week. As of May 3, 2024, no one has reached out for a solution. I phoned today and was told I will hear from them. Well no one called me back. Did I mention I have to spend another $300 to get somebody to install the stackable kit. I already spent $300 to install it but the kit was not shipped the original day. I strongly recommend that you consider another store in North Bay for your furniture and appliance needs. When it was delivered more than a month later a piece of the sectional didnāt work because of a broken motor. Waited an additional 2 months for a replacement piece for said sectional. In that time my 8 week puppy ripped a hole. When they called me to schedule delivery of the replacement piece I was honest about the hole. They checked to make sure they could still replace it and I was told they could. Day of delivery they call to ask for $150 for the replacement piece since they canāt resell the broken piece like they intended to. Why did I pay for warranty? I specifically mentioned to the sales person when I bought it that I have kids and dogs and wanted warranty incase of ANY KIND of damage. Now I have to pay more for a replacement of the defective sectional you guys didnāt verify worked properly upon revival of the order? Shouldāve stuck with the brick.
