I found Home Leisure online when I was searching for a pool cue stand. I dropped by to look at them and found one I liked. I also noticed some nice patio stuff that I was going to take my husband back to look at (which I won't now). I asked the price of the pool cue stand since there was no sign. The gentleman looked it up on his computer and told me it was $149. I told him that I liked it but was just starting to look so I would keep it in mind. That evening I looked online and found the exact same one for the exact same price on Amazon. I decided to go back and purchase from Oakville Home Leisure. When I showed up the next day, I was greeted with a 'Welcome back' from the same gentleman. I said I decided to take the pool cue holder and he immediately went to the back and brought it to the checkout counter. He then said 'That will be $258.77'. When I questioned the price, he said it was $229 + tax. I told him he quoted me $149 the day before. He looked in his computer and said that price is for the corner stand. But he knew which one he quoted me because he went and collected it without me telling which one. I told him that I can get the same stand for $149 from Amazon. He proceeded to tear a strip off me telling me that he is just a little guy that has overhead and other costs and that he can't compete with Amazon! We purchased a fire bowl from Oakville leisure almost 20 years ago and after using it a lot in the summer nights, we decided we needed a new one. We went back to Oakville leisure as the customer service is always good. We did purchase as new beautiful fire bowl, in august of last year The glass beaded fire bowl was amazing . However in early April of this year, the fire kept going out. We thought it was the wind so we went back to Oakville leisure and purchased a glass surround for the unit. However even with the glass surround, the fire kept going out. We talked to Jay and he was so cooperative and came out a few days later and replaced the insert at no charge, gave us more glass beads AND PAID for our gas guy to come back and reconnect the unit as it needed a smaller valve.
