Coulter's Furniture — Local services in Ontario

Originally special ordered leather recliner love seat Dec. 2023. Received 4 months later in April of 2024, (was told 8-10 weeks for delivery). Within 90 days you could no longer sit on this furniture as it was sagging so much on the left side you felt like you were going to fall off. Amanda suggested possible cushion wear (90 days) due to weight issue on furniture. My wife is the only one who sat on this side of this furniture and weights in at less than 150 lbs. Took additional 2 weeks for Coulter’s to pickup for repair. End of sept. 2024 (6 weeks later) was advised that this furniture was unrepairable as there was an issue in the way the furniture was built. Amanda stated that we could only receive a store credit, no refund! Had to speak to Tim Finlay to be able to have a choice of full refund or order new furniture. We elected to order new furniture with another 8-10 weeks delivery. Finally, 6 months later furniture was delivered on march 19, 2025! Furniture arrived scratched, and delivery personal scratched/ damaged the banister rail to basement stair case, also no invoice showing delivery. I have made several calls and emails, all to no avail. If you read between the lines above you can see I went without furniture for a whole year while Coulter’s had my $4,900 dollars. Tim Finlay offered a 10% discount due to not having any furniture in our basement for a whole year. Tim and I both came to the same figure as to the refund, but Amanda came up with a lessor figure by $ 76.00! (must be some new math she used) I have been a Coulter’s customer since the 1990’S, but not any more. I get better service and value for my money at the big box...

We had such an amazing experience with Coulter's. When you shop with Coulter's they provide you with an Interior Decorator that will work with the exact layout, and floor plan of your home. We shopped with Tim he was so Great! He spent the time, and listened to all of our wants and needs. - he genuinely cared about all of our concerns. He matched our style and decor taste to a "T". We had such a good experience with Tim, we furnished our entire main floor with furniture from Coulter's. They have an amazing selection of furniture that doesn't even compare to other furniture stores in the Windsor area. An added bonus is that we were able customize fabrics, and different styles on alot of our furniture, creating truly unique pieces for our home. Coulter's frequently offers a "No Tax" incentive, we shopped on these days and saved a ton of money. They also offer a great financing program if you require it and free delivery that is prompt and effeccient. We will definitely be back to shop at Coulter's again when it comes time to furnish our basement. Thanks so much for all your time and...

Today was my first visit and i bought a Sofa Set Dan the Sales rep was good and courteous. We also looked at a Dresser with Glass and the Label had a price and we were told by the rep that it was on special sales prices and we showed our willingness to buy the same. When the time for checkout came to our surprise the price was not what the label had and the rep told us. It was $ 400 more and they were apologizing instead of honoring the price and accepting their mistake. Usually if the label is wrongly placed as per the rules of Consumers act and rights the Store has to accept the mistake and give the item for the same price what it had displayed, But like i said instead of honoring the price Store bluntly refused which not only have shattered my confidence in this chain they have lost a customer. My sincere advice to fellow shoppers " Be Aware" before you buy thoroughly check the prices twice. As per the Management reply that there was confusion, That is what is expected from them because they are at fault and did not honor their price and this action portrays...
