The Lake on the Mountain is a wonderful spot to visit.

The lake itself, nestled 60m above Lake Ontario offers wonderful views of the Bay of Quinte, and the Glenora Ferry.

Situated on the banks of the Lake on The Mountain, you will find the Inn and just a short distance from there, the Lake on the Mountain Brewing Company.

What started off as a light lunch, with a wonderful bruschetta, and tasty craft beer (Cream Ale) transformed into a visit to the brewery.

Both offered excellent service. The beer is a great example of small batch craft beer. If you opt to picnic in the area, a visit here would fit in nicely.

Recently attended lake on the mountain brewing company and I can’t knock the beers. Excellent beers with the Oatmeal stout being top notch. But whatever you do don’t order the cheese charcuterie board. It’s $18 and it’s about $13 over priced. I should have taken a pic to display for this review but please take my word for it. It was truly disappointing to see what you got or how it was presented. This place is in a gem of a spot to draw crowds heading to and from the ferry.
