June 25 around 6:00pm What’s with no one at checkouts? No light to indicate who is at a till thus, making customers have to ring in their own groceries. But, 3 cashiers standing around chit chatting about their personal life’s.. I have limited mobility which makes it difficult to ring in my groceries without dropping them. The older cashiers broke from her conversation to help me with my Moi card then walked back to resume her conversation. I became furious with the whole concept and threw my groceries into the cart. By this time the younger cashier made her way to her till and stared at me in disbelief, like I was a lunatic.(I probably looked like one.) I had mostly cans so the noise level was pretty intense. I asked the younger cashier if she liked that! The older one asked if I had a problem. I said there are 3 of you standing around chit chatting while a customer has to ring in their own groceries because no one is at a till, this isn’t right. The middle aged cashier said, ignorantly, it doesn’t matter she’s at the self check out, anyways. I have been going to this place now for the last year and I have had Almost all of my watermelons mushy inside, My fruits are commonly Hiding mold somewhere in The container, Their avocados are rubber and they will not get soft, I buy organic sometimes and I find they Also have mold. I bought Breyers ice cream a few months ago and found plastic, pulled it right out of my mouth, I called Breyers and told metro manager, and it was never recalled or anything. I even showed them a photo. I thought metro was better quality but it not the case at all. They still charge sky rocket prices though.im at the point where I don't trust buying certain items there. I NEVER leave bad reviews but it's so upsetting wen you get home and can't eat what you bought I don't have time to run there to return everytime. I called the store, they couldn't find the order, the guy I was talking to said if we put in an order right then, they could have it ready for the next morning. I called back 2 minutes later, the woman in the bakery said they had too many orders and they wouldn't be able to accommodate us in time. My wife desperate to get a cake for our boys' birthday went to a competitor, they didn't have anybody on staff that night to write on the cake so she bought some edible letters and we made it work.
